Imagine that instead of being a 3rd darkness subclass it’s like PURE RAGE or something… imagine.

Its been confirmed there wont be a 3rd dark subclass in final shape. Theyre doing what they did in witch queen and adding shit to the light subclass

I have questions:
-How come the neomuni people and cloud striders never once saw or use strand?
Does it mean that only light bearers can wield it unlike stasis?

-Does it also mean that its also the the darkness knows what the witness is planning and doesn’t want it to happen or it does but not on how the witness wants it and being used?

-if poukas are another form of our ghost, does this mean that the darkness is either imitating or somehow creates the opposite?

-are the poukas the reason as to why no one in Neomuna never encountered strand?

There’s definitely a third darkness subclass. The new DLC is literally called “The Final Shape” likely hinting at the final shape of darkness

Regarding Rhulk's mural, I believe it is irrelevant to a third subclass. It has stasis, and it was strand. but not as a prediction of what was to come. Strand would've been vapour, and it would've been made at a time that Vapour was still shipping with WQ. the mural wasn't changed to accompany this. it's just vapour (cut content), resonance (just pure darkness energy, which is seen in all darkness subclasses) and stasis

I think the third Darkness subclass would be revolving around magnetism, in a way. While it’s not the opposite of Arc(lightning), it works in tandem with it. Seeing as how we learned to combine Light and Dark in the Root of Nightmares raid, it wouldn’t be far off to say the third subclass would be some kind of fusion between the two. And seeing as how the Final Shape is coming up, a combination of Light and Dark as one subclass is entirely possible. There is also lore in the Season of the Deep’s exotic that roots it in some research that was shut down on Titan involving magnetism right before the Collapse.

Plus, Magneto Warlock.

I think a radiation type subclass would be really interesting, it could sort of work as poison but also like a fire/explosion based gameplay, just a thought

All the sub class talk got me thinking of we will get new guardian classes

Like a mage, fighter, soldier (examples)
Because we only got three classes for almost 10 years

I had a feeling that we might actually get access to the nightmare pyramid’s energy one day after these two darkness subclasses showed up

How cool would It be to have a darkness subclass that have some kinda of sinergy with the nightmares of the Shadow keep dlc
