My amateur guess with the random states being given to the wrong country glitch, is that the original mod and the Redux have different province ids for those states. So perhaps the provinces around Riga were originally part of France (in the original mod/vanilla), but were then repurposed to expand the number of states in Russia (in the Redux). Unfortunately, the decisions files haven't been updated (if this is the case), so the decisions still think they're part of France.

Always weird how these mods rarely give Greater Poland back to Poland? Like, you give Upper Silesia back, that's cool, but not the literal birthplace of the nation? Just a bit strange to me that this often seems to happen somehow. I feel like Poznań and Greater Poland would always be pursued no matter who was ruling Poland because of that, and its majority Polish population. Even vanilla HoI4 wants you to give it to the Germans in some focus paths, whereas I feel like it's vastly different than giving up Danzig and it's much more important symbolically to keep Greater Poland.
