Sounds like those pizza shop owners are not in it for the money. Probably using the pizza parlor as a write-off or as a way to launder money.

He certainly reaffirmed my view of lawyers. He did say he was a lawyer right ? - Sounds like the sort of restaurant you should avoid like the plague, or a plague of lawyers.

Long winded talk. Sounds like an annoying, controlling business with a lot of ego going on. No thanks. IMO, they are not providing good general customer service to the masses. Maybe people are too busy to call ahead or pop in last minute- unplanned. Fortunately, the masses control the money and have other choices. This business will learn this over time.

If you need to write a contract to do dishes, you have issues. Marry the right person and give your business to good businesses who appreciate and don't disrespect paying customers and all will be fine.

1. guide yourself through the rules/ obsessively learn the rules
2. notice how we layer the rules on top of basic guidelines and build contracts over them to customize to need
3. change jurisdictions when necessary or you find yourself breaching contract

I am so relieved by reading these top comments that not everybody has guzzled down the Kool-Aid. What he's not mentioning is that they're the ones that created these unintelligible rules to make things so complicated so that they can get to insert themselves every time because there's nothing like promoting the rise of the litigation industrial complex where governments will be able to extract more money from whoever they choose based on a lack of willingness accept the standard quo.
