Just seeing this video for the first time, I was the senior user interface artist on Ghostbusters the video game… I appreciate the kind words… side note I was also the Lead ui artist on the more recent Ghostbusters spirits unleashed, would love to hear your commentary on that … great vid!

Persona’s is absolutely horrible if you have dyslexia

Persona 5 is not just the worst UX in history but fails on nearly every possible level in UI. Something that simply focuses on being unique and disregards the ability to use the UI completely, does not make it “best”. 1) multiple fonts with no real purpose to what they’re attached to, 2) incapable of accessible input or scalability, 3) no consistent color theory, 3) im already tired thinking about it.

So good UI is always diegetic? This kind of UI only suits certain single player experiences. Would've been nice to see some examples of UI heavy games that make the list

I love how the devs for cuphead even implemented flickering scratches as a part of the presentation to make it feel even more like it’s playing an old cartoon tape reel from the 30s
