Easiest Way to Speed Up Sketchup Models

i have sketchup Project which is 1.25gb and i cant open it in my pc which has configuration 32gb DDR4ram quadro 4gb graphics,and i7-7820HQ .. it wil take 1hour to open the file and it will hang too slow to work .. what you will recommend for this?

I made a model in SketchUp. the size of file is 650mb how to reduce the size coz it gets crashing whenever try to open for rendering.

I take some objects as 3ds even though they are 2-3mb in 3ds max when I get them to the sketchup they get 20-30 mb with many polygons . How can I solve this ? I can't delete polygons one by one when I make them soften It doesn't change size of object.
