newJunxing f171?
ОтветитьYesss another Grizzly Jim video! You make my day
ОтветитьAnother honest review
Could you do one on the cottonmouth 2 bow ? Really keen on getting one
But there not in NZ for me to have a look at
Thanks
Finally!
ОтветитьAll the 'Mandarin duck' bows are actually manufactured by 'Junxing archery.' A lot of brand actually rebrand their products.
ОтветитьPlease stop saying bad boy
ОтветитьDo recurve and longbow limbs fit on the same riser?
ОтветитьI bought this new MK2 longbow in 40lb from Mandarin duck a few months ago. Highly reccomend? Will Merlin be stocking replacement limbs also? Looking at getting some recurve limbs.
ОтветитьWhat's going on with the shape of the limb bases there? I quite like that they're both the same this time but the merlin store page photos (which are same as mandarin duck's) show the original odd shaved corner design.
ОтветитьThey have spoiled the look of the bow by squaring up the ends of the limbs. Probably done for cost effectiveness so left hand and right hand bows have same limbs. Looks too square and bulky now
ОтветитьA bit of a misleading review here. As someone said all Black Hunter bows are made by Junxing Archery in Shenzhen, China. Manderin Duck just add their sticker to them. It's original name was the Junxing F171, as someone else said. In the USA it is sold with a completely different name.
I have had one for two years (not Manderin Duck) and have been delighted with it as are three of my friends who have them.
Pound for pound it is the best value bow on the market, especially as I only paid £74 for mine, although that was two years ago.
Hi Jim! How are you?
ОтветитьJim, good to see you. I have the BH Stealth (limbs mounted on the back) that I bought from Hitman Archery here in the USA. Great bow that shoots as good as the shooter :-). Thank you.
ОтветитьThe string is D97 Fast Flight
ОтветитьNice...
ОтветитьThis bow was my first bow and it's lovely. I still shoot it today when I want to drop back in weight (I have heavier limbs on another set). Easy to buy, easy to use, and a great shoot. Can highly recommend.
ОтветитьWhy are your razer black mkne is Grey
ОтветитьThe difference on the 2.0 appears to be the limb butt of the top limb is not profiled to the sight window.
ОтветитьAnother great video as always Jim, keep up the great work! I recently bought the longbow limbs for my riser, and am so looking forward to trying them out... with the new Hybrid string I ordered from Grizzly Strings :) - Nova Scotia, Canada
ОтветитьGreat video, looking forward to a 'spot of a shootaround'. Shoot straight!
ОтветитьI have a mk1 but I'm not confortable drawing at to my 31' draw. Would be the mk2 reach 31 without problems, without feeling that you are overdrawing?
ОтветитьI've had one for a while and it's a great bow for the money, I have it in a wrap bag with arrows, glove and arm guard ready to grab if I'm popping out to the woods.
ОтветитьNice knife!
ОтветитьI think Merlin archery should get junxing to make rounded limb butts like your striker bows!!!!!
ОтветитьI've just found out today that the king of instinctive archery himself Jim is back so now I have a lot of videos to catch up to🤣
Jim's old videos when he was collaborating with Merlin back in 2014 really helped me getting into the instinctive side of archery so I'm so excited for this collaboration to continue now!💪🏻
Have the longbow version,amazing value
ОтветитьHow do you know which branch is up and which one is down ?
ОтветитьVous étes trops stressé; il vous faut faire de la méditation ou du Yoga. Patrick Dupré . j'espère que pour tirer à l'arc, vous arrivez à vous décontracter Hi Hi Hi
ОтветитьLol. "there are worse ways to make a living...." Yep you could be back in a frame shop like me lol.
ОтветитьIf its a good fake at a good price, I don't care who's name is on it. That's why I appreciate you review guys. I do believe in fair markets, but I think these businesses men from America, china, and UK are undercutting the quality bow craftsman.
ОтветитьMandrin Duck, Top Archery, SinoArts, Southland Archery, Black Hunter, Etc, Etc. I am pretty sure they are all made by the same company which may be SinoArts, and these companies just sap their own logo on them. But, Mandrin Duck is a cool name and you are probably paying well for their excellent customer service and an added layer of quality control inspections.
ОтветитьNice review ... I've been looking at one of these for a while ... I wonder if anyone her as tried to mod it at all ... take it a sander and thin out those wide limbs ? Riser looks a bit thick too ... 🤔
ОтветитьI have a Mk1 Mandarin Duck Black Hunter Recurve with two pairs of limbs and love it also love the customer service - I unfortunately several months after purchase and a couple of thousand arrows later I had a limb explode (it happens to us all) however the outcome was as follows ..... one email later the company dispatched a "PAIR" of replacements the following day
ОтветитьHello,
What about the string?
Is it fast flight or another material?
I bought a 35# but string need to be upgraded....
Thanks for your videos
Sorry for my English
the mark one is nicer, they squared it off to cheapen manufacturing.
ОтветитьMandarin duck is no better than the many generic bows of the same design and construction on the market it's been copied because it's a successful design that works well ,I have seen so many examples of this same bow under different brands and cannot see any difference between any of them so it makes complete sense not to fall for the mandarin duck hype and pay more than you need to for the badge glued on the side .
ОтветитьTalk about teasing a Toxophilite!! String the darn thing!!! Why do many bowyer’s advertisement pictures don’t show their bows strung up?? I’m talking about custom now makers mainly.
ОтветитьString that comes with it is not a fast flight,is it? Is it suitable for fast flight or better not?
ОтветитьJust to let you know Jim, the Black Hunter Line of bows is Manufactured by Junxing Archery Sports Co. in which case Mandarin Duck is an Affiliate.
ОтветитьThanks for review!
I thought about order such a bow from Mandarin Duck.
And they sell arrows spine 500 suitable for draw weights from 30-60 pounds.
Do you have any comment to that? Will the same arrow be good for both 30 and 60 pounds? Is it a compromise that they are optimal for 45 pound and still works decent within the span of +- 15 pounds?
