Tbh the only reason to buy the PS5 to play this is to avoid the PS4 turbine sound but the PS4 still looks great.

But you might not be able to actually hear the game.

Really fun game man, improved upon Horizon Zero Dawn, the graphics are stunning , the open world is gigantic and a joy to explore, it’s my personal showcase game for the PS5’s graphics and my pick for game of the year 👏👏👏👏 Still enjoy exploring the open world after getting the platinum, it’s the type of game you can explore the world for hours 🙌

even using PS4 engine that was made in 2013 but the game still looks insane.. that's why Playstation was so expensive even 10 years later🤣🤣🤣

Game got really laggy for me at the arena on PS4. Everything else is great so far.

Where can one purchase a PS5 or a XBOX Series X? Therefore, if the two units a not available, why make comparisons. You can spit out all your technical verbage but it is like a freezing breeze during the winter-worthless.

It looks really nice on my PS4 Pro but 30 fps is just so janky now that I've been spoilt by 60+ fps games on my Xbox Series X.

Performance mode on the PS5 starts to look worse and worse the longer you play. The amount of shadow and lod detail pop in…it just isn’t optimized for the framerate. It’s a mode that needs some more tlc

I've noticed a tiny bit of popup here and there during cutscenes & the map icons drag to show for a couple of seconds but im enjoying every second of it on my ps4 slim

Sony did a clever thing. After ps4 making a lot of Sony games from ps3 to ps4 in 'glorious hd' 60fps, so you purchase games again, then ps4 pro taking HD and giving 'incredible 4k' but only at sub 30fps, they are now paving the way for ps5 pro by getting games to have 'performance mode' giving 4k 60fps' and a woeful sub 30fps 'High fidelity' mode. So...when ps5 pro comes along:

It will run that high fidelity mode in 4k 60fps, and you will purchase the new hardware. Its an utterly genius way to keep you purchasing hardware.

Then ps6 will be 8k sub 30fps,
Then ps6 pro will be all those games you own on ps6, but now 8k 60fps.

They have solved how to keep you purchasing same old games every time, and if you include a few remasters and extra bells and whistles with the latest graphical enhancements, you have a sustainable long term shareholders paradise.

For Ps5 to load faster,you need to go to in General settings,and set the stand by screen mode to immediate.Then you will see single digits loading,mine does around 4s to load a save game.

Well, I’m glad all those gamers, and journalists that were whining about how terrible it was that it was on both systems can finally shut up.

not impressed so far on my OLED LG C1. Turning the camera slowly especially palm trees in the distance look like 720p and no antialiasing. Looks really weird. I'm very surprised Digital Foundry mentioned nothing of this.

Ps5=high to ultra high settings

Honestly, the difference isn't as much as we make out and we'd like. The jump is nowhere near as much as I'd like.

I've read that the devs had to actually slow the loading time DOWN on the PS5 due to not being able to read the gam hints properly.
