For laughs I once took Corey taylor's vocals from wait and bleed and put it through a pitch shifter and blended his normal voice with the pitched down voice. I wanted an evil dead 'you will die' kind of effect. It sounded great on the heavy parts, but it sounded ass on the singy parts.
