This two years' old clip answers my wonders why this type of automation in IDE is called Emmet... it is originated at Emmet. Although not really need to install this nowadays as it is pretty integrated in most of IDEs but impressed to know its origin. I am sure this was much helpful back in two years before. I genuinely learnt a lot from this channel. Thanks Brad.

emmet and vim go so well together

I love using emmet but I am having issues with some abbreviations:

select+ - I get <select name="" id=""></select>
table+ - I get <table></table>
ol+ - I get <ol></ol>
ul+ - I get <ul></ul>

Any ideas on what is wrong. I am using Visual Studio Code

Adding the div with a class and nested elements option doesn't work. E.g. div.class1>a.class2{Text}

Emmet doesn't work with my laptop, I can't press div tab and have <div> </div> rendered to me.

which plugin on VScode do you recommend using?

I like how Emmet is set by default in VSC. But okay it's 2020 now, was to be expected but still nice.
