Russian planes regularly broach sovereign airspaces......all part of the sparring process
ОтветитьRussia is jealous of this weapon of mass destruction
ОтветитьGood video but I can assure you Portsmouth is not in Scotland.
Ответитьsuch a shame theyre now assisting the genocide of gaza
ОтветитьYou speak way too fast. Takes away the focus of the information.
ОтветитьThose russians were lucky the brits were so reserved.. had it unleashed it would have decimated not only all the aircraft Russia fielded but potential key military targets...
ОтветитьGender neutral living spaces are important on warships
ОтветитьBut it can only fire surface to air missiles it has zero surface to land missiles so it's extremely short of capability. A massive oversight from the UK navy, cannot defend itself from sea or launch into land. Not great
ОтветитьI usually like these videos pretty well, but this one was rather boring. Not much to tell, the ship ran through Ukraine waters and was chased off by Russian navy ships. Big deal.
Ответитьrussia mad lol stop being politically current with fake rubbish from gov.control
ОтветитьThe bridge crew did not look diversified enough.
Ответитьspent the entirety of the video talking about the ship and not the actual story whats the point
ОтветитьA long and glorious history of Russia shooting at our stuff and missing - be it Daring Class T45 or Rivet Joint aircraft. Perhaps they should stop being so corrupt and actually build stuff they say they can.
ОтветитьGender neutral, the thing is a floating mess
ОтветитьSkip to 9 mins 40 sec
Ответитьnarration is fckn atrocousis
ОтветитьWell that was sort of a short little video
ОтветитьRULE BRITANNIA
ОтветитьFantastic video, but its slightly wrong as T23 friagtes have single cubicles.
Ответитьif russia is a civilized country and as putin claims he is a christian the Russians are uncouth and have no manners . what's wrong with russia and then they wonder why people don't trust them.
ОтветитьNice but 9 years to get it in the water? then 4 more to go to sea? ouch
Ответить“Russian SU-70 fighters??” What’s an SU-70 fighter?? I’ve heard of S-70 UCAV’s, but not a “fighter” aircraft. 🤨
ОтветитьMeanwhile, back in reality- Daring would have detected the Russian aircraft from best part of 300 miles away. Her radar can simultaneously track 300 tgts. In a conflict situation, the Russian aircraft would have been blown out the sky well before they came anywhere near Daring. One Type 45 sat in the Thames can defend all the airspace over London- no problem at all.
ОтветитьStrange looking? I think the Type 45 is sleek and beautiful
ОтветитьDon’t mess with the Royal Navy. So result as with US Navy, you will be humiliated.
ОтветитьThey maybe cost a lot but it's a disgrace Britain an island, does not have a strong Navy like they have had throughout history. The Navy should be, and needs to be far larger, stronger, and ahead of the game than it currently is. Too much reliance on agreements with others.
ОтветитьRoyal Navy (small fleet) but a big heart with amazing technology
So proud i served in the Senior Service 1991-1996
BUT FIRST: a quick 10 minute history lesson on the evolution of warships
ОтветитьI used to serve fish n chips to some people who might have been in the Navy when i worked in Portsmouth... I saw ships too
ОтветитьDear god before this video started I had a paid for advert from a teenager advertising psychiatry. So kids glued to their phone suffering mental health issues due to being glued to their phone can find someone ... while glued to their phone? Welcome to 2024.
ОтветитьI saw one of these docked in Portsmouth when I went on a tour of the HMS Victory in 2013. It looked a bit odd in the distance with it's massive radar tower but I thought there must be some crazy, state-of-the-art tech on that ship, it must be badass. HMS Victory must have seemed like a spaceship to it's crew back in the day. Naval history fascinates me.
Ответить"su 70"
Ответитьstrangely pro russian anti uk video?
Pretty damned sure the UK know where they are sailing and why, and they don't ****ing sail right into others territory if its legally theirs , and of course in this case it wasn't, and if a bunch of pro russian video makers have a different opinion, how about they just say that....
What an asinine title… 😂
Counter terrorism in the Black Sea, cruising calmly… 😂
…have you ever seen the MSM when a Russian ship cruises calmly near Britain?
It didn't cost any 'Euros' for the RN!
ОтветитьRussia did not annex Crimea!
ОтветитьDon't call it the British Royal Navy for Heavens sake just the Royal Navy!
ОтветитьIf you're in a plane, thats about the last thing you want beneth you
ОтветитьThis ship is lucky to remain in one piece after those provocations. Risking hundreds of lives of seamen for sake of cheap provocation was irresponsible.
ОтветитьWhat absolute nonsense (apart from the bits you lifted directly from Wikipedia). The route which HMS Defender followed was an internationally recognised channel which never took it closer than 13 miles to the coast. It is provably true that no bombs were dropped (I have seen the onboard video), and the Russian coastguard vessel used its popgun to fire a shot at Defender long after the latter had left the scene and was at least two miles out of range. There were sounds of gunfire in the distance, which was a gunnery exercise the Russians arranged when they discovered that Defender was planning to do a sail-by on its' way to Batumi. If you want to talk about a tense situation, you should investigate what happened to HMS Duncan when she sailed into the Back Sea in 2018, when the Russians tried with all their might to provoke her into action - a less competent Commodore might have accidentally started World War 3.
ОтветитьGreat, now all we need is people to man them!.... vote Reform uk 🇬🇧
ОтветитьNo chasing done. Bad choice of words again
ОтветитьWait until Canada (15) and Australia (9) have their new aegis class frigates with similar capabilities lol
ОтветитьTexting from the Republic of Ireland, hats off to the Royal Navy, without them, we would have been invaded by Hitler and most likely Putin.👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьLove the Brits. Guts telling Putler go f**k himself 😁
Ответитьgender neutral?
ОтветитьSince when is the Black Sea an ocean?
ОтветитьThis ship may operate quite well if a ship was going to attack it.,, or if An attack came from the air, but like other ships that have sunk to the bottom of the sea,, if an, explosion came from inside the ship, which is a real possibility that could happen,, then your sunk.. With the amount of equipment that is taken on board?? , and the number of people that is needed to run the ship?? That is where the problem would be,.. I hope my point of view as given you something to think about
