Another great workout from Lauren, mixing stretching with a bit of strengthening, it was the perfect mix and the exact amount of time to do after work or in the evening. The explanations, the moves, the tips, the nice smile, everything is sooo good and motivating. It's big quality work that helps me staying fit instead of lying around in front of the TV. ОтветитьI have been sick for the past three years, in and out of the hospital and physical therapy. My son suggested chair yoga videos for a way to gain my strength back and for the positive effects of yoga on autoimmune disorders. I have found your videos to be my favorites among all the other chair yoga routines because of your pleasant nature and your empathy for those of us who can’t do all the moves. Your work outs make me feel better and stronger and the are greatly helping in my recovery and health maintenance. Thank you so much for what you do for others!!!

ОтветитьI taught yoga back in the late 60's, early 70's. Now that I am quite the "senior", I really appreciate your method which is very old school, slow, steady, contemplative with breathing. I hear all the time now about "hot yoga", "calisthenic yoga". I always called yoga an "inner-cise"...so again, thanks so much for your video. I do have a (silly?) question for you. In your videos, you do the exercises such that it's like looking in a mirror...you say "right", but you yourself do the posture to your "left". But you do it so comfortably and I was curious if you actually simply flip the video horizontally or are you actually saying "right" while moving "left"? If you are, God bless you! This would have been very tough for me to keep it straight when I was teaching. All the best.

I hurt my knee recently and my husband talked me into doing chair yoga. We found you online and have loved it and we have both noticed a difference. We do it every night. We have done a load of your chair options but particularly love the boxing one. Thank you so much for providing these wonderful videos you are amazing. We have now been doing this every evening to 3 months and the difference in us is significant!
Great for elderly people like me. Have just started but plan to continue daily. Thank you

ОтветитьHello, Lauren. I wanted to share with you how life changing this is. I was working out daily with you, and then I was put on two medications that caused me to gain over 110 pounds. With that and moving across the country I think I just lost hope, so I stopped working out. I am back to exercising, and eating healthy in our new home and off the medications. I just started but I have to tell you I love how this is making me feel. I do the 15 min no excuses work out and this one as well daily. You are so encouraging and I love the modifications so I can still gain benefit and still have something to shoot for. Thank you for the hope you give through these videos.

ОтветитьI am 64 years old and I needed to do weights especially lifting my grand babies and this routine really helped me. Also, trouble with arthritis in hips and lower back pain from sitting . After doing your video, I really do not feel any pain just some stiffness. Thank you for helping us seniors❤
