I'm using animated text templates (lower thirds) but none executes, I think it might be some configuration, I've already researched that only and found nothing.
I installed them all in the correct folder but none run, and I've used them before in other versions of davinci, I currently use 18.1.4 studio, rtx 2070 video card, amd rizen 7 processors.

There is DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.5 Public Beta on the download page. How do I decide between that and DaVinci Resolve 18.5 Public Beta? What benefits would it have to do the Studio 18.5 beta, if any. I like the one here for what you showed in this video. Thanks.

I shot 1.5 TB of Footage on the 6k pro in Full 6k Braw Film Gen 5. Its a client project and I need to deliver it in the best quality possible for uploading on a website through Vimeo. I would like to color grade the footage in DaVinci and export it to After Effects while maintaining all the quality in 6k resolution for editing.

What would be the best project settings and color space transform from start to finish? Blackmagic Gen 5 Color Space and Blackmagic Film Gen 5 Gamma to Davinci Wide Gamut and Davinci Intermediate and then that to Rec 709 and Gamma 2.4 / Cineon Film Log?
Should I put the CTS in the start, end or middle?


Can I deliver in Rec 709 as color space and Cineon Film Log as Gamma and still have it displayed nicely on all displays even tho it’s Cineon and not Gamma 2.4?

What would be the best render settings or way to export the footage 6k lossless to after effects?

Using the remote monitoring with a separate laptop... allows you to bypass the issue where you can't use a separate monitor unless you have the ultra studio etc. Sneaky...--- WAIT.. Video Clean feed... has that always been there? Or just in the Studio version and I didn't notice when i bought it? WHAT IS GOING ON.

i wish davinvi would add the CAPS font in the captions options. i like to transform all my captions to uppercase and that option isnt there in resolve subtitles

Upscale for me is the best (for what I do) because I do a lot of video restoration and I also bought Topaz... Topaz still does a better job, but it takes a lot of time to do it. Resolve keeps getting better and better with each update.

Hi I've asked this question on Caseys channel and I can't get a answer hopefully you can help.. Question is, will these new features in 18.5 work on the free version? Because I can't get them to work on mine. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Please any answer is appreciated.

I switched to 18.5, but when I turn on for instance super scale. It covers "STUDIO" as If I would have the free version. I have no clue how to get my liscense into it...

Yep, easier remote... as long as the client has a meter-corrected monitor... he he.

Descript is remarkably powerful and practical, especially for a new kid on the block. We're using it quite a bit on large scale projects now. Hopefully Resolve's transcription tool evolves to compete, but in the meantime, it's nice to have a native transcript-based selects system available. Resolve's transcriptions are also much more accurate than Descript's, even when the audio source is messy, which is no small thing if you're a documentary editor working with lengthy, wordy interviews recorded in less than ideal conditions.
