"Those thoughts are not who I am"
"I whipe my hands"
"Done"
I, too, have suffered severe rumination related to a failed relationship decades (yes, decades) ago. My mind constantly replays “what if?” scenarios. It is indeed torture to be tormented by these thoughts for what seems like 24/7 with little relief. Your recommendation to recognize these looping unending thoughts as mere thoughts then ignore them makes sense but seems almost too simplistic. Nonetheless, I will heed your advice and give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!
ОтветитьThank you for posting this video.
ОтветитьI came to find that I cannot control what thoughts enter my mind, but i can control what i do with them. I can "change the channel" and try to redirect my thoughts, like going for a walk... I can call a friend... I can pick up a friend and go for a ride. There are alot of ways that we can deal with our thoughts. We have to find what works.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThanks so much mate 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏼
ОтветитьBut what if the thoughts still scare me?
ОтветитьThis might be the way.
Instead of changing your thoughts forcefully w repetition over time.
But maybe your thoughts will change the more you ignore the ones you don’t want to think.
This is good for intrusive thoughts for sure, but some thoughts we think intentionally that are negative we have the ability to think a different way.
Thank you
Sometimes I struggle with knowing what is intrusive and what I’m actually thinking … ykwim?
ОтветитьI have been having the most paranoid anxious thoughts for a year now due to some very poor actions on my part. I spent so much of the last year drinking away the sound, which only made it worse. The confidence comes in spurs and time does heal, just very slowly. I have learned that numbing the ideas doesn't fix the problem it just prolongs the issue. Nighttime can be much worse than daytime but I am slowly on my healing journey and I am confident that one day this will go away. I am just fighting for sooner rather than later. Thank you for the advice.
ОтветитьOh my goodness this is like myself talking. OCD has been crippling me since adolescence
ОтветитьInteresting, the question we must all or at least some of us encounter is why doesn’t the brain support us with rest and digest, not fight and flight. Does our brain want us to be unhappy and unhealthy? It’s just messed up.
ОтветитьMy brain does not let me be in peace because of the Severe somatic OCD that is fixated on my eyes! It’s literally insane! I have been dealing with this for over 19 years
It’s definitely harder when you know exactly What is going on and just can’t stop the pain 😢
this was great, letting it go frees.
ОтветитьIf u need med..take it!! And pray to God...4 help..oh ya...he knows ur every thot..ask him 4 help..God didn't give u a spirit of fear..but power love and a SOUND MIND!
ОтветитьIt's being petrified of nothing at all. Screaming crying begging for it to stop. But it keeps on. It never ends ,
ОтветитьI feel like the traumatic moments that genuinely disfigure us or have caused physical injury and mental fears that change an entire balance of how to stay standing in the fight / si.ple walk of the path in life
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьThanks brother I was diagnosed with ptsd it sucks I do breath work kundalini yoga somatic exercises. Im just about to start EDMR. Next week thank you im grateful for your message All the very best moving forwards to your greater self ❤
ОтветитьThe first 1 min and 45 seconds pretty much sums up how I've felt about my existence for the last decade or so. It's now going to be a challenge to train, or 're-train' my brain and mental behaviors in both understanding and acceptance that my random thoughts are just that......random obstacles I have no control over and need to keep moving on and not stop to take notice. Easier said than done.
ОтветитьGoing to try this because I have been struggling with this. Thanks
ОтветитьYou should check out Mark DeJesus' stuff which is similar regarding thoughts/intrusive thoughts..SO VERY good!!
ОтветитьIdk. I FEEL the symptoms despite not thinking much. It’s more subconscious.
ОтветитьThank you❤
Ответитьthis is profoundly impactful to me at this point in my life. thank you sir
ОтветитьWhat happens if there’s physical evidence? And it’s not about thinking bad thought about who you are, like with health ocd for instance. Does anyone have experience and advice for that type of obsessive loop? Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI’m suffering from this from too long I’m just loosing myself help me , I’m so panicking
ОтветитьThank you brother this helped me so much
ОтветитьThank you so much I get hung up on thoughts and feels like I'm losing it!!! especially the past!
Ответитьso negative label makes it worse?
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьNoah, you’re a special person.
I’m super happy that I’ve found your channel.
My reality is what gives me anxiety. My problems are real but I take a moment and think I'm good right now quit dwelling on the future. Over thinking is what brings the doubt and feelings of fear. That's meditation to the devil and it must be nipped. You gotta control the thoughts before they go to your heart and become feelings.

ОтветитьI am 39 y/o with a history of this. I had been going fine, then Found out my dad has early stage Alzheimers a few days ago. Now I can barely get out of bed obsessing that I have it to. I lose a train of thought or studder a word and my mind completely wrecks me to the point I can't eat. Thank you so much for your videos and god bless you.
ОтветитьMy thoughts more revolve around my health. I’m a hypochondriac and I can’t stop the thoughts and they just make me feel worse. My body physically reacts when I get to thinking about something too much..:
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьTorture is exactly what I have felt for years! It never ends
ОтветитьTorture is exactly what I have felt for years! It never ends ! My mother told me no one cares about me or my stories and it’s awful
ОтветитьNo family no friends, isolated
ОтветитьFinally somebody I can relate to
ОтветитьThank you ☺️
ОтветитьThis is an issue that people do not want to deal with spiritually. Such thoughts are demonic attacks like the brother is saying they are not actually your thoughts. You must understand it as an external attack on your life, pray about it, and call on Christ. These usually go with nightmares or eventful dreams where you feel like you are never truly resting call on Christ even when you are attacked in your dreams. Fast, dry, fast demons don't like that at all. They hunger and never satisfied they thirst you will waken them; meditate on the word of god. Think about things that might have happened in your past forgive yourself for wrong decisions, forgive those who hurt you, and eventually you will be ok. Do not let the demons take over to the point that you think you want to take your like its them not you you want to live and be happy. Close all doors that let them in, including some substances we use like any drugs. Our DNA is not the same; some people are more vulnerable to demonic attacks than others.
ОтветитьGood video
ОтветитьThis work with retroactive jealously too?
ОтветитьThis is simple yet effective. Thank you
