One time in school some kids dared me to staple my arm... CHNK ... I felt nothing, so I thought the stapler was empty, but when I took it away, nope, there it was. Little staple stuck in the backside of my arm completely. I was so confused, I did it again, and again, and again. Felt absolutely nothing. The other kids were weirded out. I was weirded out. I picked out the staples, shrugged it off, and moved on with my day. Thankfully I believe I was up-to-date with my tetanus shot otherwise this story might've turned out differently.

I have episodic cluster headaches (Spring/Fall), I'll vouch that I would rather have my arm amputated with a dull pocket knife. Thank God for LSD, micro-dosing cuts the pain by nearly 50% and allows me to at the very least speak/not flail around.

I've had Skin & Bone Grafts, neither of which I recommend.🤣 I fear one word above all~ Debridement. That $hit goes to 11.😰 I always took 10-12 extra strength vicodin, but shook & cried uncontrollably every time. It's critical to debride the wound to prevent massive scar tissues and there's no other way to do it, so I hope nobody here has to go through it.🥺 Thanks for listening.🤗

Still plenty undeveloped countries in the world were amputation and basic surgery are still done without anesthetic or pain relief at all, not even alcohol.

The worst pain I've been in was when i had a horrible ear infection, it was in both ears and i couldn't sleep at night, i stayed up all night crying

When i was very little I was running and triped over a toy toy car, i thought nothing of it and kept running around. I looked down at my foot and it was bleeding, the toy car had cut me and i didn't even notice!
