Hi Rick! Thank you for these instructional videos! After 14 out of the game, I'm watching them to get my swing back and Love that they are so easily explained that, I'm watching them with my 12-y/o twins daughters, who are both interested in golf and are getting it really good!!!

Simply off watching some swing videos I went to the range last week. Actually Applying some of Grants tips and tips of Ricks. I was striking my irons the best I ever had in my life. From 60 degree to 6 iron. For the first time every, swing I was taking a slight Divot and everything was straight, Long and felt unbelievably clean. I had changed my grip to a weaker grip and really focusing on FEELING driving my chest toward the ground as I rotated through and it made a world of difference. Next I had noticed that my son had brought along an OLD King Snake driver. Much smaller head. Beside his new G430 it looked ridiculous. My first 10 drives with it 8 were dead nuts straight and Bombs! Like most golfers, I struggle at times to drive the ball straight. I’m usually good enough about make slight adjustments to be able to mask it and get through a round while still shooting a respectable number. That’s not the case when swinging this old small headed 1980 something driver. Is it crazy that I’m not only planning on throwing the King Snake in the bag I’m excited about getting to the next round with it. How many people do you think today would play with a club a club that looks silly compared to any of todays clubs as long as it’s working for you?

I’ve watched this video many times now. The third tip has made a tremendous difference in helping me with more consistent strikes. I used to top the ball on most every hit.

I knew tip 1 and 3 but not 2. I haven’t thought too much before about how far I am from the ball but I’ll try that hand rule out

I’m afraid I can’t watch insruction from a guy who can’t break 82 and has a backswing tempo at lightning speed. Slooow your swing down and the hooks will go away.

How can you hit the ball and then the ground taking a divot at driving ranges which use only those fake green mats? You can’t.

whats the reasoning behind having the ball further up on your stance for longer irons?

Just getting into golf but what clubs are technically small irons, mid-irons and large irons?

I just started golfing and I can't figure out how to rotate around my front foot and I always end up leaning back at the end of my swing.

i really hope you read this Mr. Shiels. I am 59 & golfed before covid 2 times / year starting at about 48 at company tourneys. Then covid hit and i did not play at all. a month ago (after retiring) I decided to buy my own clubs and give this game a try, I have gone out 3 times in the last month (mid June 2023 to now) and bashed it around on an executive par 3. then i watched this video this aftertoon (repeat THIS afternoon) and went to the driving range. I was hitting steady 3 irons up to 6 irons 125 to 150 yards straight as an arrow consistently. No BS. I could not believe it. I got a Jumbo bucket and about half way thru started to get tired and then started to shank them etc. But at the peak, i was straight on. I just finished watching your grip position video and cant wait to get to the range and back to the executive par 3 9 hole (longest hole is 200 yards).
