How to install NVMe SSD on HP EliteDesk 800 G2 DM 4K

I installed a NVme drive into this PC. It works fine as storage, but I wanted to boot up (I cloned the drive) and it does not work, does not even show up in Bios, how can i fix that?

I have the G1 version and the m.2 slot is in a really weird spot and im almost certain i have remove the heat sink and fan just to install the SSD. Then id have to repaste the CPU. Am i right?

日本人の私からすると、スクリュードライバーでネジを締めるときは、一度で締めるのではなく、均等に全てを緩く狩り締めした後に、改めて本締めするのが当たり前だと思う。よって、この動画のネジの締め方は悪い例であると感じる。

Saludos que buen video le felicito por sus aportes tengo la mini PC HP elitedesk 800 g3 i5 6700t 8 de RAM trae un disco HDD 500 GB compre un SSD m.2 de 240 GB marca patriot lo instale desde cero para luego hacer una clonación solo del sistema con un programa, pero al encender la PC intento arrancar, pero la apago de una ve que pudo haber pasado no será que abre colocado mal el disco HDD o que, luego quite de nuevo el SSD m.2 para corroborar que la PC arrancara como venía si arranco otra ve gracias a dios, pero ahora no sé cómo hacer para instalar el SSD m.2

Tried two different M2 SATA SSDs: not detected in BIOS or OS. Have not tried the NVME though. Looks like it's a common problem with some of these HPs, but I have not found any explanation of why this happens.

I had been looking for this information. It was not clear to me if there were separate options for SATA or NVME or if both of them were on the same board. Now I will go out and buy at least one of these today.

Mi problema al instalarlo fue que la velocidad de lectura escritura del NVMe SSD era menos de la mitad del SSD normal por lo que lo desinstalé y puse un SSD externo. En mi opinión no merece la pena poner un NVMe en ese equipo. El mio es un I5 con 32 Gigas de RAM (Si, 32). En cuanto a la temperatura no me la detectaba ningún programa por lo que no lo sé. Eso si, cuando lo desinstalé, inmediatamente después de hacer la prueba de lectura / escritura, estaba frio al tacto... Y gracias por el tutorial. Poca gente sabe que ese equipo admite otro disco.

Are the temperatures safe for that SSD crammed into a small case like that? Does that drive bay double as a heatsink? Is there room to install your own heatsink?
