How to Find the BEST Pristine Weapons in The Depths of Tears of the Kingdom

If you want the modifier to change every time you load, do you already need to find the pistine weapon before finding it?

Do you have to destroy the decayed weapon in the OVERWORLD? I just got a decayed Royal Claymore (my first one) from a Stalnox/Hinox in the DEPTHS. If I destroy it in the DEPTHS, does it then enter the pool of pristine weapons, or do you have to find and/or destroy it in the OVERWORLD?

Can you remove the weapon with ultrahand and does that allow the weapon to respawn? One usually has full weapon slots so picking another up to toss it seems inefficient if you can just displace it ultra hand.

Do the royal weapons in the castle respawn? Since you need to destroy the decayed version to get the pristine version, I would be disappointed to not be able to have a good weapon in between the time of destroying the decayed version and finding the better one.

By the way, you can get the Royal, Royal Guard, and Giant Boomerang (2 handed weapons) all by the Korom lightroot if you go a little west of it

I’ve explored under the Rito and found lots of Royal weapons. Not any of the Rito weapons since I don’t like them, maybe that’s why the area has become a literal gold mine to me.

Really helpful video! Do you know if the save/reload trick to get different attributes still works? Thanks to your video I finally found a royal guard claymore but every time I reload and pick it up it has the same attribute, which is to say NO attribute. 😭

i might be being stupid but do you have to have had a royal guards claymore before you find the prestine one because it hasn’t loaded yet i put down a hard save and it hasn’t been one yet

I don't understand why everyone likes the Royal Guard Claymore so much, sure it has the most damage on its final hit but then it's gone and you have to farm it and the molduga jaw all over again. Just get the Gloom Club, it does higher damage on base, has slightly higher durability, and instead of having to farm new stuff all the time you can just fix it with rock octoroks.

Ok, I've wasted a LOT of time wondering why although I broke certain weapons they wouldn't appear in the depths... Turns out you need to reach 0 durability with them, this means that if the weapon starts glowing red and you throw it and break it that way (it had like 2 or so durability the moment you threw it) even though it technically broke the shadow soldiers WON'T HAVE IT.
It's reeeeeeally specific, but in case you are like me and tried to do it that way... Don't.

TLDR: spam jump attacks until it breaks "still in your hands" :')

Someone HELP, the pristine zora longsword is imposible to get!!! I did everything to get it, i tryed it for 5 freaking bloodmoons!!! I broke 4 zora longsword and threw all the travelers longsword in lanayru, BUT NO, it just doesnt want to appear, im crying rn 😭😭😭

If theres a secret exp system ive been pulling Silver Lynel Bows out of wooden chests because i spend the majority of my time giving hands to bokoblins and silver bokoblins. i also seem to notice theres wayyyyyy too many silver bokoblins. been hoarding their horns for no reason.

Austin I got 208 pristine royal guards claymore attack up +10 and silver lynel saber horn

Underneath Hyrule I literally only found 1 claymore spawn and it was on the big rock where three different people spawn

Did you know if you fuse a l Gerudo Spear and a Molduga jaw bone together, both attributes double? Instead of having a Royal spear and a Molduga Jaw bone you only get 39*.

I got a pristine royal guard sword from one of the shadow guys but now I return to him and he is only giving out the travelers sword

Oh my word, thanks! I was straight up snubbing and hard-ignoring those 'pathetic' Travellers 'Statues' (after funnily enough being so happy seeing one in my initial few travels down in the Depths) because I had no real idea why the weapons were so awful!

But the joke was on me because now, I know! ^ ^
