A350 Jetway Not Working in X plane 12

The upgrade to X-plane 12 has seen a lot of improvements over XP 11. One of the better ones is the operational jetways that toggle to and from aircraft.

But if you fly the Airbus A350 by Flight Factor, there is one problem with the upgrade. The jetways DO NOT WORK. So what's wrong and how do you fix it?
