Yeah, this is crap. Before he even says a word, you get hit with a shock and cant move for a good 10 seconds. During that, hes already running around.

Novice here. Just curious, at what expertise level & skill accessories tier levels were you when you recorded this defeat of Keener? Were you maxed out, i.e. expertise level = 20, drone skill tier level = 6, hive skill tier level = 6, LMG expertise level = 20? Thanks.

Anyone else watching this after trying this and having like 30 attempts and failing, i literally got him down to where he starts to run off and I got frozen and lazered to death, was soo pissed, Ubisoft need to update this mission as the average player having a go at this for the first time is gonna chuck their console out the window, this mission may be the worst mission in game history, from deactivating your skills, to have every skill in the game with no cool-down, to keener constantly medding up, Ubisoft needs to fix this mission or they’ll lose a lot of players just not coming back to the game, shameful

Looks like they did a lot of work to fix all this. I'm playing today and he can come right up to the door, send in seekers, assault drones and whatever else. They even followed me down the shaft, where there is no loot crate with med kits.

I did this today followed what you did. Destroying the launcher was easy then back through the doors into the room to fight Keener . He doesn’t stay in the shack now he moves around but it is still possible to kill him if you are patient . He is very hard to kill using drones, seekers etc against you and it took ages to even deplete his armour . I used up my health so had to go down the lift shaft a few times to replenish my health , but I managed it . Thanks

this method has been patched easiest way I did it, get close use a pulse jammer and drone reviver from the start then attact with shotgun and lmg don't let up. takes abt 3 min with this method but it worked for me

Idk what are some the comments talking about, they say they keep dying while i won first try, the only skills i had was the emp pulse and the firewall shield, emp pulse to deal with all his skills and the firewall shield to prevent some damage while upclose and personal

I beat it the first time but for fuck sake now I’m going the next set of warlords and he’s one of the missions. I just tried 10 times in a row maybe more and it don’t work. They make it impossible to win. I mean shit I fucking broke his armor 4 damn times and what’d he do? Magically regenerate armor all 4-6 times. They make it impossible to fucking beat.

On what difficulty did you have this??? I get shocked and he destroys me with his skills, seeker mines, everything...he doesn't just stand there for me like he did here...

05/03/21. PC version. Didn't work for me. I ran into the room and I even took the rope to the bottom of the elevator. I still got shocked and Keener still left his perch and attacked me. Eventually I killed him with a marksman build. I threw a decoy near him and then pounded him with headshots while he was looking at the decoy.

I HATE this part of the mission

Or you use a shield, a stinger hive and the meanest shotgun with magazine you have. Before you destroy the last weak point of the missile, place the hive where Keener jumps down. Destroy the missile and fast run towards Keener. When he jumps into the hive, it keeps him from doing his crap. Use the shield as extra protection and stand directly in front of Keener. Unload the shotgun into his face and bring him down before he can start healing and any other boss mechanic. The short reload time of a shotgun with magazine helps a lot in case he doesn't die at once. The same goes for the hive which still is under your control. The 2nd magazine of shells should then finish the job skipping the whole annoying last part of the fight where he first captures your skills and then completely deactivates them while using armor kit after armor kit until he runs out of them.
