I'm a woman and I love these videos. I've been going to my beauty shop for years and I love my hairdresser . It's a great shop but I am totally envious of the fun that these guys have.
All the guys in here, great stylists. Every man comes out fantastic, handsome, and younger looking.

Well I'm a first time viewer and an older guy. The quality of the work is there for sure.

While everyone was friendly as such, there also was this atmosphere that subtly establishes this is how WE roll, with the implication, if YOU don't feel comfortable as a customer, then don't come. And hey, it's your business. On the one hand, it's fine if everyone in the shop knows each other, but for strangers, first time customers, I imagine it can be off putting. It's like being TOO friendly and relaxed the first time you meet someone at a social event, or perhaps at a new job. There's again, this attitude of "this is who we are" and if you don't like it, then...tough.

I'm old school, even in a barber shop, you don't get TOO loosey/goosey as it were. Who was that one guy who kept making the "nuts" joke? Very strange dude. And I noticed while he's walking around the customer, he gets literally fairly close to the customer. Invading the customer's personal space if you will.

And why was he allowed to roam the shop anyway? Was he working? I didn't seem him pushing a broom or cutting hair. He just seemed to be up in the barber's workspace, cracking jokes. If I were that customer, I would have said: "Hey buddy, do you mind? I'm trying to get a haircut here". Yea, that was the strangest thing I've ever seen in any haircutting place.

I think that Portugal customer via the UK handled it very well, seemingly smiling and relaxed but I sensed this feeling of..."OK, we got a bunch of jokesters here so I'll be chill" but inwards I suspected he was probably thinking, "You know what, there are plenty of places I can go, without the high school shenanigan aspects to this place".

I've gone to barbers for years. The type of places where it was rare for a woman to be in. Maybe she's bringing a son if she's there at all. But mostly it was an all male environment. But it didn't mean the atmosphere was at the high school level. The barbers didn't make jokes at the customer's expense, tease, that kind of thing. Nor did the barbers goof around, as such, with the other barbers.

I can understand the employees of your establishment wanting to work in a relaxed and "fun" environment. But there's a fine line. And at some point, it's going to limit your revenue.

I think most guys just want to go in and get a hair/beard cut, without some comedy show going on. They want to be taken seriously.

I suppose after all my comments, the bottom line is, while I do appreciate the level of your hair cutting, the overall atmosphere of your establishment was too stressful. It's like there's this pressure as a customer to "JOIN" in with the fun, be able to take a "JOKE" etc. And I'm thinking, I just want someone to cut my hair.

I think in a way, a barber MIGHT be akin to a bar tender. The customer wants to tell the bar tender THEIR troubles and THEIR jokes not the other way around.

Again, it appears as if you have a successful business and that's great! Just thought I'd present/offer up, that there are other customer "types" out there who appreciate a barber/stylist who listens more, focuses more on the customer and not on co-workers and isn't about being a stand up comic.

LOL, you're probably thinking "We don't want THOSE kind of customers"...and it's your business and if your business model is working for you, you can choose not to consider my perception of your establishment.

Let me put it this way, there was this feeling that your barber shop operates the way YOU guys want to operate and if you're a customer who appreciates OUR style of working then great, if not, then hey, don't come to us. And THAT'S the problem I found. Basically it's a level of immaturity. I think you're limiting your customer base and you don't realize it.

You seem like a great bunch of guys who do good work. I think if you ADULT-ED up a bit (LOL) you might be pleasantly surprised with the results...as in dollars.

OH Just had a thought. Maybe it's become more about this utube channel...and ITS entertainment value. If that's the case and it's resulting in dollars then forget everything I just said. LOL

Please leave some of your hair on your head. Women love a full head of hair stop shaving the bottom half of your head. May-be it's just me but I'm not a fan of the half shaved head. Also most of us women love a trimmed beard that cuts a line which looks good and shapes your face. Very well done on the red haired guy. He looks amazing. Actually they all look amazing especially the beard styling. Now you guys see why we women like to go to our salon it's way more than a haircut. God bless you all.

Just say no to anything remotely connected with a Mohawk!! Guys need to keep their beards NEAT and clean. Those straggling beards are really not a good look on anyone. That short hair and long beard just makes one look like a domestic terrorist. Not a good look on anyone.

From a female perspective, I can only say, WOW! I am blown away by the transformations and the stylists, they have off the charts talent. Bravo!

That first guy, with the long hair, looked great at the end! Carlos, good results but not a huge difference. Still, he looks sharp. Talon, haircut is great. I think he should go shorter on the beard. I know the fashion is longer, but he’s got a long face that is over emphasized by the beard. I think short with crisp lines of demarcation would help soften and round the long face look. But, gotta say, his fair hair and complexion make it challenging, so that haircut nailed it. Three for three guys. Excellent work.

I remember my three year old and myself saw my husband after shaving his beard for the first time I was really shocked at the change and our daughter walked right by him not even knowing who he was…until he spoke to her! She turned and looked at him knowing that was the voice of her Daddy. She must have been confused with the voice coming from a man she didn’t recognize so she began crying. Awww. She was ok just took a little time getting use to him. It shocked him with her reaction. We really didn’t think of that scaring her.

Wouldn’t the guy with the tatted up neck be better looking without a beard. Cant see where the beard ends and the neck begins. Looks messy.
