I have personally found for years that zinc gluconate (e.g. Cold-Eeze) does halve the duration of my cold. Have not found it to work on other viruses like COVID.

That stuff just makes you feel better.

"Do nothing" is a serious and false claim.
I have headache, fever, can't harldly breath with runny noise and coughing, have a Nyquil and all symptoms improve, can sleep all night like a baby. Cold is usually way better next day thanks to quality sleep, quality breathing all night and the extra time to fight off infections.

Not my opinion. You can see the comments and thumb ups of people who had great experience using Nyquil.

No one thinks these medicines will cure the disease. They're meant to ease symptoms. It's a bit misleading for you to say they will do nothing for your cold or flu

Zink is VERY bad for your Teeth and Gums and doesn't work for a cold. NyQuil is best.

interestingly original/regular Sudafed is now no longer sold OTC, you have to get a prescription for it.

there are NO cures for the common cold only minor treatments for symptoms i always let my body handle it, builds it's own immunity have never had a flu shot & guess what i've never had in over 25 yrs?

What do you recommend for covid

This is the medication regime i adopt when suffering from a severe cold or flu. Line stomach with food. Take 400mg Ibuprofen for the nerve and skin pain and a large glass of cold water. Wait 4 hours and take 1000mg paracetamol for the fever. Rest in a cool room with fluids. After 4 hours take 500mg paracetamol. Before bed take a boiling hot bath/shower and line my stomach with food. Take 400mg Ibuprofen. All basic generic medicines. Two products only! Paracetamol and Ibuprofen, pills. Not drinks or syrups as its too easy to blow your liver to oblivion and end up on a transplant list. I never, ever buy these so called remedies as shown on this video. Waste of money.

I just got over the Flu 2 weeks ago Theraflu the kind you mix in warm water was actually very helpful for me. Vitamin C and Zinc also helps kick out a nasty cold, flu or virus.

B12 and Zinc helps your body make the Flu/Cold more bearable. Just like how collagen in real chicken soup helps you with amino acids and orange juice has vitamin c to protect your cell walls and retain water.

I had covid last month and my C4 Energy drinks & vitamins overloaded me with B12, and Zinc to keep me going.

All the same crap, just different packaging. Homemade chicken soup, vitamin C , coat your chest with Vicks , heavy sweatshirt, sweat it out.

Honestly these medications never make my symptoms better, i usually just use ibuprofen since doctor always prescribed it or cough medication that is none of these brands. Ill have to try the zinc and vitamin c

Yeah so, my parents always treated these medications as a cure so they passed that incorrect idea down to me but honestly i think these medications do insinuate theyll cure your cold with advertising.

These medicines are for symptoms. There is nothing wrong with managing your symptoms, so this is very mis-leading. Shame on Walgreens for letting this 'guy' leak this video out. Zinc can help immune system (for some), just don't wait till you are sick to include zinc in your diet, why would you do that?
