Is there a way to find out if a certain saying or cliché that we want to put on an item has already been used? I'm just new to all this and wanting to try it out but doing some reasesrch before I begin. Thank you so much.

I read in a comment below that these appear under regular orders but actually doesn’t just the standard 1 appear and the personalised one gets lost? How do you handle this? Thank you!

Thank you for these very informative videos. I have all these design ideas for personalization and I really want to do it, but even after watching your video...I'm still terrified I'll mess it up. Question please...when you create your template and mockups on Canva...do you use a specific size for each or do you use the suggested "template" for say a t-shirt or mug, that Canva provides for a new design?

ОтветитьWhat if you list the item in Printify first, then push to Etsy? Skews are created. Is completing a personalized order the same or did I mess up doing it that way? I love your methed and it makes sense. Should I go back and relist those items?
ОтветитьHi Mandy, I followed this through all the way, but let’s say a shirts size is suddenly out of stock. Since the Etsy listing is not “fully” connected (wasn’t started through Printify) how will the customer know it’s out of stock? Or will they not know until I find out myself when I go customize their order, then I’ll have to message them and tell them?

I have a question about completing the Printify part of the process...once you send the item through and you see that Printify is fulfilling the order do you also need to track Printify's progress and add the tracking number to the order once they provide it or does Printify push it through to Etsy and we (as sellers) do not need to do anything? I just got my first POD order and am just EXCITED and nervous that I am going to screw it up so wanted to ask. My order is "In production" state with Printify so a huge THANK YOU for your training on that. :)

For example, if you were making a customizable shirt or mug and they ask for a certain phrase or send you a picture of a trademarked cartoon character. Thanks for everything! I think this the one thing that keeps tripping me up. Or if I follow your exact steps will the orders still go to “other orders” since there isn’t a SKU by doing it in Etsy first? ОтветитьLove your tutorial videos! If I have a shirt design that's available in both customizable and non-customizable versions, should I price them differently? If so, by how much? (What would you recommend?) This is for a school shirt and the customizable part is the school location. So the orders I get are group orders for the class from different campuses. Thanks for your help in advance!
ОтветитьMaybe this is a dumb question but Canva seems to hate me. lol HOW do I save a design to customize at a later date? I swear Canva seems to overwrite all the things I make. I can't seem to find any info on this online. I name the design, save to a specific folder, but often when I go to look the folder hasn't got all the designs there. I'm sure it's something I'm doing or not doing, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. P.S. Love your channel. You explain things so well and you're so generous with your knowledge!
ОтветитьI'm curious if you have any thoughts on HelloCustom for customized orders? I just tried it for a custom design, but it didn't work well. It couldn't recognize my font (it was curved over the top), and since it's a font from Canva, I don't necessarily have access to it anyways to upload. Would love to know your thoughts, I was excited to try it but now I'm not so sure..

ОтветитьHow do prefer to do a custom/personalized listing when you have multiple colors-but different sayings? I know Shawna said she likes to do the most automated way-for example bride niche-she only chooses 2 colors white for bride and “pink” for the crew, so when they order a shirt the bride gets the white -but as far as sayings she said she likes to offer at least 15 and then a custom choice in hopes they choose one she already offered. so then when they place an order although custom is an option -IF they don’t chose that it’s just like any other automated order. Do you do that type of variation? I assume you can only do this with 2 color shirts tho since size needs to be one of those. Ty
