I went to see this a couple of weeks ago, and I cried when it started I was so haapy and excited! The show rose above (pun intended) my ludicrously high expectations and I got to meet Reeve (who is my favourite singer) and Patrick at the stage door!

So the order of story recycling I'm seeing now is.... IDEA >>>> BOOK >>>>. MOVIE >>>> BROADWAY

I love this show so much! Im disappointed that this is the song they chose to perform. This show has great music, but this is not one of the best songs.

Yeah, good work there, you moron. Getting over to her place in 5 minutes wont give you away, especially when you mention spider man a second later. And besides, i cant at all imagine why they perform this snoozing clanker of a song and not 'rise up' or whatever, the only half-decent song it appears they have in this disasterous bowl of crap. Yeah, that audience was on its FEET after that. Not even a single solitary whoop or whistle. Not even from the people who made it, apparently

There was nothing wrong with this show. I saw Spider-Man:Turn off the Dark performed by Jake Epstein and it was amazing. It's not the usual musical. It's modern. Reeve can sing too ya know... Don't single out the show because ONE performance didn't reach YOUR expectations.

Don't hedge your bet on this one "STOTD" song- Your obviously not familiar with his work- Look up Carney (his band) & take a listen to Testify, Easier Said Than Done, Think Of You, Forget About You, OH! Their single Love Me, Chase Me (some of my personal faves) THEN come back & tell me Reeve "can't sing" =) Trust me, you'll thank me later!

The version from the actual show was a lot better than this, This misses out a lot of the song, plus it wasn't a duet (in 2.0 at least)

When I saw it on Broadway the show broke down three times and the audience was in the theatre for four hours. However, Patrick Page who played the Green Goblin was totally worth the extended time.

This was the second thing on boradway my parents took me to as child i think i saw annie before and when i saw this i was 4 or 5 and i was so scared of the green goblin in this when he ran through the aisle and had nightmares after for a bit but i still really enjoyed it 😭
