I was trying to install tails
Os on virtual machine and VMware but I couldn’t because of the time covering the start tails button do you know how to fix that

After the tail starts and if you remove the ISO image the machine doesnt boot. Does that mean ISO file will always be needed to boot tails?

Isn't running TAILS through a VM running on something like Windows kind of like putting kale on a Big Mac? The whole point of TAILS is that every boot is a clean slate so malware that might have compromised the OS during any previous sessions is wiped. If the OS running the VM is compromised with malware, wouldn't that malware such as network/key/screen loggers additionally corrupt TAILS? The IP routing is also suspect if all the network traffic is actually moving through the OS that's running the VM. VMWare seems great for running Linux, Plex, Windows, Apple OS's (?), retro gaming, smart home hub, etc. all on the same hardware, but this application seems super sketchy. If for some reason I'm mistaken and my concern actually isn't an issue, I'd love to hear how that works.
