Antwerp is famous for his restaurant out of the center. Antwerp is safe except for Borgerhout (way out of the center) at night
Not to miss is the city hall. If you come to Begium go to Antwerp, Gent & Bruges, if you have time left then go to Brussels;
Trust me I live in Brussels for more than half a decade

There are a few nice locations and historic places, yes.... but all that is drowned into a sea of dystopian ugliness, grime & crime....crazy traffic, polluted air and drinking water....I used to live there, but was more than happy to move away, 12 years ago.... since then it has only grown more dystopian....
Do not go out alone at night.... at the Eilandje ( where museum on the stroom is ) you may go missing.... there is ugly shit going on there... You will be fine during business hours, but once past 19 h, the energy and atmosphere change drastically
