ОтветитьListened to this and it made me wanna play super Mario wii and so I did. While other pc games and mobile games might get old and boring, I’ve realized, Wii games never really do get boring, or lose their charm, especially this game. I’m thankful to have been able to play this with my brothers before we all grew up and they went off to college. Hopefully I’ll be able to play this with my friends sometime. I love this game, it really does hold a place in my heart, The Wii is a console that will never die.
ОтветитьThere's just something special about this song, man. This was the first video game in general, let along Mario game, that I ever played. My father and I played it all the time when I was 5 years old, and we just could not get past the first tower. But it didn't matter, we still had fun. Eventually we started playing other games, and for years and years, I never beat Larry. But when I finally did, the rest of the game just sorta came naturally. I played it by myself usually, but when I had a friend over, I'd always want to play with them. Had this friend, he and I haven't spoken in almost four years, but I would go to his house on weekends pretty often when I was still in school, and my best memories with him are sitting in his living room, on a blanket or pillow or whatever was comfy, playing Mario Bros. Wii with his parents and/or siblings. We always played 4-player, so it was very chaotic, but dammit, I enjoyed every last moment.
We'd always start from 1-1 and try to beat the game before I had to go, and usually did. Not 100%, but we usually beat Bowser. I wasn't as good at platformers back then as I am now, but I was still usually playing the best, getting the Star Coins, all that. Strangely enough I don't think I ever felt that way back then, but from memory, it was always me and my friend who were playing while his parents or siblings, whoever was playing, were just along for the ride. I remember his dad usually raging as well, he would always say "F***ing Luigi!" whenever I'd grab more than one powerup or jump on his head, since I was always Luigi. He did it with every character and every player, it always made the game so much better. This song just brings back all those memories, since my clearest memory of this game is in 7-4, specifically an insane save I had with one of the moving track things that you tilt your Wii remote to control.
I miss playing this game, but ultimately, I just don't have the motivation to since to use my Wii, I have to disassemble my Xbox setup and I use my Xbox far more often. Never felt the same playing by myself after I stopped talking to my friend anyway, but who knows. Maybe one day we can get back together, or one of my other friends will stop by and we can play, something like that. I'm still young.
Gosh, what I wouldn't give to have someone yell at me for stealing their Propeller Mushroom one more time.
Playing this in the plane is another vibe
ОтветитьIt reminds me of the early 2010s. How the time has flown by!
ОтветитьRemember playing this when I was 7, now I've graduated college. Good times

ОтветитьIs it just me, or if your wearing headphones, the two different parts of the song play in the left and right earphones at the same time?
ОтветитьWhen i was a kid i hated this song because of how reserved it was compared to the other world tracks. I dont know why but it made me feel alone. Especially combined with being in the clouds
ОтветитьThis song is the perfect one to listen as 2023 comes to a close. Godspeed to y'all!

I have this precious memory I’ll always hold…I remember when I’d always get home and barely do my schoolwork, play Nintendo games, drink apple juice, eat chips, enjoy myself if you will. Then one day my parents had enough of me lounging and disregarding school. I hated school. I had no friends, no interests, no passion in school. And whenever I even attempted to do homework, I’d always lose my mind in the silence and presence of my mind roaming within said silence. Then one day, whilst making flash cards for a history test, I flickered the Wii like an amp. Opened this game, and selected world 7. Only then in those moments of studying, I didn’t feel alone. I didn’t feel empty. I felt warm, and full of joy. Even while I was confronting hell on a sheet of paper in 2nd grade. Looking back, I realize now that while I never made any real friends in school, I did in fact make a connection with myself that would benefit my purpose and well being for the future. The passion of music. It’s so powerful. I love it so much. And I’m starting to love myself again, thanks Nintendo.
Ответитьlistening to this after wonder came out brings back memories
ОтветитьLudwig von Koopa always appears as the boss of the world made of giant clouds at the blue sky similar to an angel heaven with a Ghost House where the Lakitu, the Chain Chomps and the Para Beetles appear. Also, his tower has a lift where the Bullet Bills are outside and the Bob-ombs inside with an another lift spawning out of the cannons. Lastly, his castle is missing an indoor wall and had a cloudy sky view with skewers where the Sledge Bros. appear to stun players.
ОтветитьThis is going to be my funeral song.
ОтветитьAnybody still play this game??
