nearly 10,000 Palestinians so far died in hands of Israel versus 1000 Israelis in hands of Hamas. Israel is a multi billion dollar war machine whereas Hamas is literally using sticks and stones fighting whilst locked up within a prison. But according to USA, that's not enough, the lives of Palestinians are literally worth nothing. American hypocrisy and ignorance of human rights is repugnant and spectacular.

I am ashamed to witness this. I am saddened that USA is doing this. I love this country so much, but sorry cannot agree with you on this inhumane decision. I never felt this voiceless and powerless.

The US has through it's repeated abuse of the veto power made it clear that if the UN is to survive it must be reformed.
My suggestion would be that they can keep their veto power as it is now, except that a 2/3 majority should always override any veto.

Is there a profit motive?

The once oppressed have now joined hands to become worse than their oppressors. They forget that no oppression has lasted forever.

The right of self defense doen not apply to israel. And the reason for that is very simple. The right of self-defense does not apply to an occupying country's wars against those it occupies.
