I went to school to be an Estician many years ago. I was taught to use a sterile disposable lancet. I guess technically they're a similar tool, but this tool seems much easier to use. She's also not just breathing the skin or scraping the surface holding the tool parallel to the skin. She seems to be going in rather deep. I think this technique is actually more effective. I would like to get that tool for milia, or large hard whiteheads that don't go away with extraction. This patient mostly has blackheads meaning the pore is already open. With milia the bacteria is under the skin some times rather deep, and the skin is closed, which is why it is white. I need that tool.
