BF4 Best Long Range Sniper - SRR-61 vs M98B Weapon Comparison | Stats & Bullet Drop

I kind of prefer the .338 recon

I think SRR-61 is way better because it's much easier to get people at 250m 350m 450m and like 700m etc (between the zero ranges)

If you are suck at zeroing then the srr but if you can zero then there's no reason to not use m98b

Im gonna have to disagree cause I am a EXTREMELY long range sniper like 1200+ I prefer the srr ive gotten a 2415m shot I am #40 in the world for longest shot srr is much better

The m98B has more bullet drop so I stickk withh srr-61

U guys are getting this whole faster bullet less drop BS mixed up. The SRR-61 IN real life has superior range and not much drop it shoots at about 2,870fps but the 5.56(m16) has a velocity of 3,250fps and its like sayin that the srr-61has more drop than the m16. But it doesn't. I do shoot long range targets it real life but I don't get the whole changing in gravity thing but the m98b may have a touch more velocity but it flies differently

I prefer the m98b because it's easy enough to adjust for bullet drop when you use the gun regularly. I easily get head shots with it. The srr is a noobs gun if you ask me, for people who can't adjust for bullet drop.

is this thing still true? i pulled my first 1000+ headshot today, was using the M98B and bulletdrop was extremely tricky to handle at those ranges. there was a monumental difference between 1000 and 1050 on top of that, i think 0-ing is a bit off. still had to fire a tracer to range in the weapon properly.

DICE Logic: For balancing purposes, let's make the SRR rounds not have the same acceleration due to gravity that every other object on the planet has! :D 

I normally use M98B and just becouse i like sniper guns from BF3 and loadouts :D

Fucking idiots! You can't tell the velocity of the bullet be because you can't tell the direction! Velocity is speed in a certain direction! So all you can say is speed! How stupid are people!

For me the srr-61 is better because i unlocked all for him and i didnt unlocked nothing for m98b because i dont want to try to have 140 without him

what is the reload and rechambering speed

Im new to bf4, when I press down on the dpad it changes from: 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 500m, 1000m. But I never get to use 0m. Can anyone explain how to use this? Thanks.

This is stupid the intervention from mw2 had no bullet drop at all. These guns are weak.

Idk man, I have tried using the M98B but I just cant, I feel like gun is heavy as well its bullet drop. Im not agreeing, it does take some skill and great use of the gun to understand but personaly I cant get into it. In my experience with SRR-61 it felt ligther, powerful and little need to audjust or compensate for bullet drop, I always had great confidence in the gun that I know once I shot I will hit my target without question. To me, it is the better sniper rifle. M98B is a beautiful sniper rifle but its performance that can match my playing behavior

when I was a noob I thought that M98b was a 50.cal and I know it know when I was lvl 140 on BF4

wait, so you say the bullets disappear after 3xxx meters? then how did i hit people over that distance?

Anyone else notice that in the left video, when the rechambering animation ends, the bullet shell that just flew out of the gun just magically moves itself back into the gun through the right hand side? :o

I cant tell why people prefer SRR-61... there is just no reason. It looks like an Alien weapon and it sounds like the M9 Pistol, but louder. The M98B is basicly the .50Cal pickup weapon but not semiauto

I prefer a lot the Srr-61, because of the easy aim parameters with 40x, and the margin of error of 15 meters. That is, If you aim at 200m, and the enemy is in 215m, you get a headshot. Because of this, lot of people thinks the SRR is more accurate. (Sorry for my english).

People get confused between bullet drop and speed. The m98 does make you aim a little higher but your bullet will always 100 percent of the time hit the target before a srr61 will.
