What Mr. Filoni and Disney are collectively doing should not be simply labeled derivative rather I’d call it recycling Star Wars and other elements of the competition’s work. It lacks the right approach and a story that grabs hold of audiences Disney needs to make Star Wars profitable. I still firmly maintain that Disney / Lucasfilm need to make shorter family friendly action packed movies with a compelling story that will renew interest and faith in Star Wars for fans and general audiences. I am still waiting for an opportunity to make a pitch for my stories for Star Wars that will give Disney/ Lucasfilm two decades of success at the box office if the stories are executed faithful with plenty of listening to fans along the way. If you tire of Disney’s excuses please tell them to either put up with continued decline or to call me up, seek me out and try the path of success I have prepared for them to preserve the studio that Mr. Lucas founded for future generations.

People saying that Moff Gideon was a clone cuz he "haD nO MusTacHE", as if it's a foreign concept to shave in the star wars universe. But i also feel this is the perfect ending for Gideon. This fool belived himself to be great, and in his meglomania, he created clones of himself to be force sensitive cuz he believed himself to be perfect already, so giving himself force powers would make him even more perfect. He was ambitious, openly questioning Thrawn's orders and fashioned himself in Darth Vader's image. So it's the perfect ending for someone who believed himself to be the future of the empire to meet an undignified end, engulfed in flame as his aspirations are destroyed because his ambitions exceeded his worth.

Hope they take the broken dark saber to Luke or Ahsoka to repair its such a cool weapon and it’s just iconic now and represents the mandolorians

I didn't like that Gideon had to show up in his Iron Man armor in the finale instead of sticking to manipulating events from the shadows like he should have, and his death was cheesy... But still, pretty cool fight scene

The fact that they were stupid enough to destroyed off the coolest Lightsaber in all of Star Wars The Darksaber in that final episode is the only thing that actually pissed me off I was really hoping that The Mandalorian would win back the Darksaber considering the fact that The Darksaber was way more cooler with The Mandalorian then with Moff Gideon or Bo Katan.

Moff Gideon sounded like a combination of Kylo Ren, mixed with the suit of Darth Vader, with the helmet getting a Darth Maul look!
