Painfully slow and weird after one intense scene. I want my 2 hours back
ОтветитьI heard this movie described as demons are real and women are crazy 😅
ОтветитьThe first horror movie in years that actually entertained me. Most bore me to sleep or make me laugh for all the wrong reasons. Doesn't need explaining. Just requres watching
ОтветитьThis produced by the same "Ari Aster" that did the short mini film "The Strange Thing About The Johnson's". I can safely say this movie is alittle more easier to watch then "The Johnsons" film ...i never knew this movie existed until i read some comments on the "Johnson's" film & majority of commenters suggest to see this film. For what im seeing in this explained lore. This looks like something i definitely want to watch...
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
One thing that has not been explained is that Joan at the end called Peter Charlie. She was telling Charlie to calm down. I remember the scene at school where she was yelling "I expel you Peter." She was exorcising Peter's spirit so both Charlie's spirit and Paimon could inhabit Peter's body since Charlie was open to the possession but her body wasn't strong enough to handle it wheras a male body was capable.
ОтветитьTHE ENDING FELT LIKE ONE OF DISNEY MOVIES ENDING 😑😑
ОтветитьThis film is just absolutely beautifully, brilliant! Such an in-depth horror film. Im so thankful to Ari Aster as he has brought me back to the horror genre as most horror films nowadays are complete, predicable, jump scare garbage. Just the fact that "Charlie" was never really Charlie, but Paimon, the entire film and basically "Charlie's" entire life, completely blew my mind once realized. There's a 4 1/2 hour YT video by Novum, which completely breaks down the entire film scene by scene. I highly recommend watching.
ОтветитьOne of the most boring weird movies I’ve ever barely watched
ОтветитьI didn’t like that this film has soooo much context/subcontext. If some of these plot themes and storylines were more explicit, I think I would have enjoyed it more.
ОтветитьI wanted to see this, but this is close enough.
ОтветитьHereditary is by FAR one of my all time favorite horror films now. Took me a while to watch it but I'm glad I did. 10/10.
ОтветитьI watched it when I was like 13 or something when it first came out with my grandmother and I just watched it recently with my boyfriend after a traumatic incident where I lost my father and holy god it was very unsettling and no movie has ever done this but I had to pause it for a bit because it was triggering that trauma so much but other then that 10/10 film
ОтветитьWhat made this movie terrifying for me was the fear of pure hopeless grief!
ОтветитьHow did ellen get into the attic? Why did steve catch fire instead of Annie
ОтветитьWow i was watching this movie an thinking ita about a inherited family illness or something else but now as i read this its about more demons and rituals im exhausted by movies like this can we make more movies about positive earthly or good things in life?
ОтветитьSomething I noticed with the imagery of this film. There was a few scenes where peters eyes were red. The first time was after he smoked weed/was in shock over the death of Charlie. Next was when Annie was in the treehouse with the red lighths from the heaters reflecting on his eyes. And the third when possessed Peter goes into the treehouse and his eyes become blood shot. Very cool details they put in this film.
ОтветитьThe way that this movie heavily implies that Paimon doesn’t possess Charlie, but rather IS Charlie (like Paimon just took a human form) makes this so much more interesting and disturbing. Its like looking into a demon's actual personality, since possession implies a background noise/presence side by side with the host's actual personality; but if Charlie is literally Paimon himself then everything we see of her comes from him.
ОтветитьApparently being a demon doesnt immun you from nut allergie😂
ОтветитьTerrible video, explain the movie NOT the art of movie making
ОтветитьA24 films always leave me with indescribable feelings. I just hoped Peter would be alright, and in a fucked up kind of way he was.
