As a kid I got stuck at about halfway thru the game and couldn't get past a certain level. I never even made it to the guns and never even knew they had guns til years later 🤣🤣

Manhunt is basically just a criminal version of The Hunger Games

What really gets me is that this game is way more fun than it should be

I think the pistol isn’t “LOSING” power at a distance but maybe his accuracy is decreased and the shots aren’t hitting or at least not hitting in vital spots as accurately. Like you’re more likely to miss a headshot from a distance and it might be hitting a shoulder or arm

REVIEW MANHUNT 2

Hey, G, I know this video is a few years on and I doubt you'd see this comment at this point, but I wanted to say that I just made my own review about a month ago and would be honored if you'd check it out. It's thorough, yet concise.

I beat this when I was twelve :/

I agree the 4th is just boring and lacks action way too many talking and cut scenes which is has become a trend that wont die on vidoe games.

This game style was ahead of its time like it was made in 2003 and has that vhs looks that we use now in modern horror games

its weird how perspective shifts with time, back then Soldier of Fortune grossed you out and i remember the first ego shotter i played by accident really stressed me out. Nowadays i just shrug when i see Mortal combat fatalities and laugh at the excutions in this game.

I remember it being hard as shit and never figuring out that you can hold attack to change animations for like months but pretty sweet and yeah plastic bag is the best fuck the construction site level though.

Really loved the soundtrack in this it has been a while since I have heard a great soundtrack in a game. The game itself is phenomenal to imo. Loved everything about it for the most part.

Games usually don't ever have a lasting effect on me emotionally or psychologically, but when I played Manhunt I did 16/20 missions in one sitting, and that night I had a dream that I was running around stabbing people in the necks with pencils, and then at one point to save my nieces, I had to kill a bunch of puppies by breaking their necks because they were making too much noise and were going to reveal our location to whatever "bad guys" were supposedly chasing us! I FREAKING LOVE dogs. It was the single most horrific dream I've had in my entire life and I never touched the game again.

'Rockstar's most Infamous game' would've been a better, more appropriate title as gta 5 is their most notorious game.

manhunt is one of my all time favorite stealth games. I've beat the game on the hardest difficulty and I
unlocked all the cheats a handful of times and I can tell you. Anybody that calls hard mode on manhunt easy is a liar.Not having a minimap makes everything more intense because you never know where the enemies are, or what direction they are going. I like the gunplay in manhunt. you don't have to use them in some places, but once you get the hang of the shooting, it can become really fun or it was for me at least. Getting extremely close to an enemy while holding a gun gives you an automatic headshot. you can run right up to people and blow their head off with the shotgun before they have time to react.

This game holds up pretty well as a horror game, even to this day. My first playthrough had me on edge all the time, the amount of jump scares is mind numbing.
My least favorite thing about the game was when you reached that part were it was filled with fire guns. I get that it makes sense that a group of mercenaries would have assault rifles, but this game was funnier when it was based around stealth instead of shootouts.
