THIS IS Freaking unbelievable! Being a previous PPr fanboy myself for many moons this is GAME CHANGER! Thank DDI! Also you look like Peter McKinnon
ОтветитьYou've saved me hours, hours! The grouping method is just perfect.
ОтветитьWhen you show the adjustment clip I was thinking that it was similar to grading the timeline (one thing I did know about).
Just goes to show that in Resolve there's many ways to skin a cat.
Groups - are there other ways to select what clips are in a group - e.g. all part of the same source clip, same camera, same angle? Can I group my source clips in the media page so that when I go into grading the groups are already done?
Dude, you're a boss. Thx man. So just to clarify, say I have two clips on my timeline, each from a different take of my movie. But I made numerous cuts of this two clips across the Edit page. Is it possible to grade a cut of Clip 1, and have it be applied to all the clips of that Clip 1? Or do I need to select them individually first, and then past my grade?
ОтветитьHi sir in picture profile the format must beh raw or jpeg? Beginner here. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat stuff! How will it work for different cameras? For example a6600 and gopros
ОтветитьThank you! Finally I got the answers to some of the issues I could not solve!
ОтветитьHi, very helpful tutorial. Thanks a lot. Greetings from Germany
Ответитьthansk mate
ОтветитьThank you somuch for this!
Can you do a tutorial on how to make audio sound so clear n crisp like yours?🤩
I don’t use davinci but why am I watching this...😅
ОтветитьThose golden colors are absolutely stunning and I do feel better after watching that intro lol. Dunna you touch on a topic that most people don't even realize would same them SO SO much time! Al the methods are explained so well 🙌🏽My personal goto is groups but probably for most people the other methods are simpler to understand.
ОтветитьBut why? If I can color grade on Premier Pro? This seems like a lot more work lol
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьThat hurt my brain, lol...so much info, going to have to watch this a few more times, 🤣 Thanks Dunna! 😎👊🏻
ОтветитьThis is great! It is going to speed up my workflow a ton! Those powergrades will change my life!
ОтветитьIs the cinematch only in studio version? Unfortunately I couldn't find it :(
Ответитьvery cool stuff, that program looks very powerful!
ОтветитьKeeping this vid saved for when I finally build my new computer and get Davinci. Such good info.
ОтветитьSuper interesting man, I used to only use nodes but now I use the adjustment layer for the look and then nodes for corrections. Also, I am digging how your set is looking now.
ОтветитьWhere was this video when I started out?! That would've saved me so much time...
Btw mouse wheel click on still applies grade as well ✌️
would you recommend editing the video then grading or grading the clips then editing the video together?
ОтветитьHuge high five to the effort and work for having timestamps for this video!
ОтветитьThat intro! OMG - so that's what being at peace feels like...took me back to 2019
Amazing video. I've been recording test footage in Canon C Log to get to grips with editing. Once this lockdown in London is over I'll start creating videos :) Thanks for sharing your tips.
Great shots man.... Love that depth of the field... Cheers
ОтветитьCan you do a tutorial on how to color grade iPhone footage??
ОтветитьI didn't know that there were other ways to apply color grades in resolve. I've been using the grab still and apply grade but this is super helpful. Thanks!
ОтветитьPower grades for the win! I have one for my talking head videos. 1 click and done. Took me a while to stop feeling like I was cheating 🤣
ОтветитьHAA !! I knew you would try the Arri LOG profile haha.
OK so that plugin you mentioned on Twitter is basically saving up all the work you would normally do regarding Color Correction, especially with RAW / LOG type footage.
Not bad, that definitely speeds up the correction process and it's more streamlined than the Color Space Transform.
This is why DaVinci Resolve is the best when it comes to color correction and color grade, you can do it in every way you want.
Thanks I learned new Short Cuts keys, about still and powerglide. I work within Timeline, I feel it's the fastest way to grade for me. It helps give my entire film a constant look through out. I pick the Money Shot for the entire timeline and grade based on that clip which will be my most important clip. Then go into Clip and adjust individually if needed.
Don't know if this is the right way to color grade. But as a hobbyist this works for me.
I love the end. That's 5, 6, or 7 ways 🤣 Great video Dunna!
ОтветитьThis is a great video. You can also middle mouse click on any clip and that will apply its grade to whatever clip you have selected. Also, Sigur Ros is on Epidemic Sound?
ОтветитьHa. That Powergrade thing is something i wasnt aware of. Thanks for that.
ОтветитьWhich version of davinci resolve is this?
ОтветитьI love that you are using Davinci now, it's so good! So glad to be able to learn so much from you!
ОтветитьGot my coffee ready for this banger
