It's nice to finally see some more info on this console. Is there any control over the page layout at the moment?

Thinking this might be just the console you're after for your local small theatre or school theatrical productions? I've just used one to do a show with over 150 cues. The rig had 4 movers, 10 RGBAoWUV LEDs, 9 RGB LEDs, 48 ch of incandescents, a strobe and a hazer. Yes it can be done but here are the problems I found with the console. I'd read the list before I purchased one for theatre if I was you.

f you know how to do any of the below, I'd really appreciate a comment. The manual isn't very good and the guy who made these videos doesn't seem to know the answers.

Goto cue: You can bypass the lack of this by putting the "next" cue in cue one in a list as the cue you want to see, then bringing up the playback master and hitting go but this is time consuming.

Move in Black: Having to program each cue before a mover is used, manually to place its position, focus, colour and beam with zero intensity is time consuming.

Copy a cue to a given cue number: You can copy a cue to a different playback list, then copy it from that different list to your main playback, where it will appear as the last cue, which you can then renumber to put where you want it but this is time consuming.

Copy a cue to include timing attributes: This is currently not possible and you have to insert timings for any copied cue manually.

Getting to see a particular cue in a long list of cues: You have to touch screen repeatedly swiping to get down a list of cues to see the one you're interested in. This is particularly annoying when you've just copied a cue to your list (from another playback) and you have to scroll all the way through your list with a thousand swipes, just to see the cue you just copied in.

Cue playback display doesn't automatically scroll: To continue to see what cue you are in during a show, you have to manually swipe scroll through the list to keep up. This is a pain, particularly when you execute a cue that has a bunch of stepped wait times ahead. The cue currently playing should be at least kept in the centre of the list displayed.

Information on cue playback: The console doesn't utilise the onboard screen for cue playback, instead wasting the vast majority of its space displaying the (nil) contents of the 4 encoder wheels. Absolutely useless during a show.

Setting a default fade time for cues: Currently, the default fade time is zero, is not adjustable and you have to change the in and out times for every cue that is not a snap, manually.

Setting fixture numbers: Fixture numbers are automatically set during patch and are not user adjustable. This is horrible when you have large amounts of different fixtures and want to identify types by number categories. 1-48 dimmer channels, 101 to 124 LED wash, 201 to 216 LED battens, 301 to 304 movers etc.

Deleted cue artefacts remain: I've never met this before but I had a cue that had red in the OH for a death scene. I deleted it as it was no longer required. Now every time I execute the cue before where the deleted scene was, it gives me a little flash of red on its way to what is now the next cue. Neither of the remaining cues have any red in them. The first is a general wash scene, the next a blackout. I can't fix this problem and wouldn't consider a console that provides such problems for professional use to any client.

No information on the cue number you're editing once you hit edit then select a cue: Care is required when you touch screen select a cue to be edited as there is no indicator of which cue your are making changes to once you select it.

No ability to "suck" values into the programmer. You should be able to take the current output being displayed on stage at any time and load these values into the programmer. Otherwise, you can't create "sub-masters" and create a look and record that look into a cue.

No link cue function: If you create a nice chase on a separate playback that you would like to use multiple times in your master playback, there is no link function. You have to copy, paste, renumber and insert timings for every step of every cue every time you want to use it.
