This is the BEST Electric Motorcycle PERIOD (And a GREAT Bike!)

When are you going to do a comparison between the LIVEWIRE Delmar S2 and the Verge TS Ultra? I am looking to buy an electric motorcycle soon and I am impressed with the breakthrough technology and range of the Verge (even though it is significantly higher in price.

Had a Livewire One for 4 months now in Paris. We have different challenges in Europe. First, the weather. It has rained solidly for over 2 months now and this has revealed a couple of major flaws: the tyres are terrible in the wet and cold - swapped them for Michelin Road 4s - and the front mudguard just sprays all the water and dirt directly into your face between 15-25mph. They don't offer any aftermarket replacement either. Also, it France petrol (gas) is twice the price as in the States and ICEs have to pay for parking and electric bikes don't. These factors guided my choice after decades of ICEs. Despite these flaws - indictor switch on the right too - my conclusion is that this bike is unique. There are cheaper and more powerful machines out there (although 0-60 in 3 secs isn't too bad!) but it is unique in terms of the feeling I get every time I get on it. And that endless smooth power never gets old.

I'd do an electric bike before an electric car. If youre a weekend rider that stays around your home area, then it works great. Not ready for an electric car in case I need to make a long trip

I've logged over 18k on my LiveWire before deciding to trade it in. I think there is a little too much emphasis on the weight. It isn't the issue. the last thing you want on the highway is crosswinds moving you. The battery tech is the issue, lithium-ion takes too long to recharge, even with level 3 supported by the bike. The LiveWire makes for a fantastic daily commuter. But once you've ridden around town and want to venture further, the 45+ minute recharging eats into your riding time for those longer trips. I'm crossing my fingers on solid state batteries to change that. Outside of that, the LiveWire is fantastic, acceleration, braking, handling, well balanced and zero vibration....butter smooth.

Too small, at 6'4" the bike is too small. Most motorcycle are. All H.D. motorcycles seem like mini bikes to me. My biggest desire is size. Many bikes have plenty of power but lack frame size. the only bikes that seem almost big enough are VTX 1800, Raider, and Wing. My passion leans toward a Hornet. A Hornet looks like a Sears 3.5hp when I am on it. E-Bike are micro. Few know the trials and tribulations of 6'4", 280lb, but somebody has to do it.

Yes, it rides great as a naked sport bike. I use a custom mode and get better milage, too.
However, I am going to be moving out of the USA next year and have to sell it. 😢

Electric cars and bikes are not purchased for lower cost of operation over gas vehicles. When you factor in high initial cost and terrible long term resale value, they are just as expensive to own. Electric vehicles are a luxury good. People buy them for the unique riding/driving experience.

Prototype American bike

I wish they gave us the numbers on the bike's actual range. How many miles vs % of charge left. Did they try any SoCal freeways? I 've found every Ebike' s manufacturer claimed ranges are bogus.

My concern is they are too quiet. I went from a too loud Harley to a too quiet new Kawasaki, and I Had way too many close calls from drivers. so I put on a slightly louder exhaust, which does help, even though I liked it quiet. Nonetheless, the electrics are very appealing. Food for thought when you shop. Just be safe out there.

This is Out of Order: (Electric-Motorcycle) The Manufacturer Need To Put A (Reserve-Switch) on there Battery, So you Can ride until you Run Out Of (Electrical-Power), And Still Make it Home or an (Electrical-Re-Charging-Station)--{Used To Be Know As A Gas Station}

The price is a downer. I will stay with my Petro bike. Maybe the big 4 will come in at a cheaper price

I feel like to make this perfect, it needs a second, smaller auxiliary battery dedicated to external components like heated vest, Bluetooth charging, LED’s, navigation etc. I’d also like adjustable foot pegs for different leg positioning. A windshield should be standard with the option to remove and lastly…range. I see their S2 Del Mar is within the proper price range. Range is really only as good as the amount of power stations at this point, so I can’t fault any of these bikes’ range.

Yeah, they weren’t selling so they lowered the cost by $7,000 I was told at a dealership. I’ll keep the CE 04.

Wow this bike is FAST!

I have one of the bikes labelled as an ebike. Emmo Zone GTS. Been looking into either going for a full on, or going with one the bigger electric motorcycles. One of the things I've figured out, real quick, is that the greatest part of the cost is the batteries. I would imagine that the batteries on that thing are probably really good lithium, and that is a main part of the high costs. Of course, I'd also expect better for the size of it.

I would like to see how much battery % one of these would get from 5-10 minutes on a fast charger. It would be the equivalent of stopping for $5 worth of gas but also, batteries charge way faster for the lower 80% than it does to top it off from 80% up, a lot of batteries charge all the way to 80% in like an hour. Would like to see how much distance you can get from a "quick" ten minute recharge or even a 20 to 30 minute "lunch stop" charge.

For $21,000 I can get a Ducati V4 Street Fighter and $2,000 left over that's a no brainer sorry but when I hear the word Harley-Davidson I think of a fat ugly guy with a beard with a leather jacket fat that stinks driving a underpowered overpriced overrated loud belligerent motorcycle.

HUGE cons: range & price

These hairdryers have been around for years and are basically mobility scooters on steroids. The unmistakable sound of a Harley is what sets the bike apart from all other competitors. Take that away, limit the range to trips to Walmart, and what are you left with? A milk cart basically.

Waaaay to heavy for someone that is short ended and the insurance is off the roof more than gas motorcycle.

Just watching this video terrifies me. I don't see how you guys ride a curvy road on a cliff that most the time has no guardrail and is a sure drop to your death if you have a blown tire or texting driver forces you off the road, oh dear God. I'm feeling woozy... 😱🤮😮‍💨

In about 6 years new battery types will be cheaper with more range. Wait until then.

That’s awesome! Would absolutely love it 9k less but that’s just my opinion. I do love the sound, really head turning if I were to hear that pass by me. It sounds like something from the terminator movies!

Would an electric motorcycle be considered as a e-bycicle? If it is that would be really cool as I could legally drive one around aulthough I'm litterly too young to drive. This would be way better than litterly riding my bicycle for 10 miles on a road that ppl go 90mph on constantly and they do not care to slow down either
