First time coming across this and it's shocking how much me 12 years ago WAS Peyton. Weird mix of nostalgia, embarrassment, and honestly mostly just admiration for Alexandra's ability to convey what feels so relatable to me. The editing and back-and-forth time jumps here are really effective, honestly this episode alone is just such a standout.

“Sometimes a path just calls to you” is a great representation on how the universe brought them together for a reason. Also, I love the story about when Luca sees Peyton for the first time at the bookstore. Love the cinematography of that scene.

This is probably my favourite episode - part 1
The juxtaposition of the two eras, moving between the two is very revealing and well shot; and the occasional voice delay and moving it over different footage is clever indeed
Very thoughtful and such natural dialogue too ... real connections being made and remembered through a different lens
In both eras we see much laughter too ... these two are wonderful
