I had a brief conversation with Helberg on Callin, with Sacks in the background. During our discussion on China, I asked him two questions that have been on my mind: how do we go around the government, and why do we have to get our Pfizer vaccines from China? I've actually read his book The Wires of War cover to cover. While I found his insights and experiences on China to be mid-level, solidly a B at best, he nonetheless presents himself as an expert on a country he’s never even visited. This comes across as overly hawkish, as if he's ready to push for conflict and hand over Mossad's playbook without hesitation. He seems desperate to solidify himself as a leading authority, which I find unsettling.

I wish I could track down the recording of him discussing China, where Rabois could literally be heard whispering instructions in the background. The whole scene was surreal. Helberg frankly scares me; he lacks the restraint and moderation that someone like Sacks embodies. I’ve even nicknamed him "Manilow Madman" because of his rhetoric.

I deeply admire Thiel, Karp, Sacks, Musk, and Vance, but Helberg doesn’t sit well with me. I hope his rhetoric evolves and eventually changes my mind. Incidentally, it’s worth noting how Callin archives have seemingly been memory-holed, which is ironic considering Sacks once declared on the All-In Podcast that it was his best idea ever.

Love the content, but I’m unsubscribing. It’s really annoying to have your reuploads clutter my feed. Please stop! Tons of people, including myself, have commented on this multiple times. Anyways, do your thing. I suspect there will be more people like me if you keep it up, which is unfortunate because you tend to have really insightful content.

I'm so glad Silicon Valley is abandoning the Dems. I heard Marc Andreesson on both Rogan and The Free Press recently (highly recommended). I'd gradually come to the conclusion that The Biden administration was fascist and controlling in its attitude towards the majority of its own citizens whilst it was appeasing and empowering America's enemies overseas.

Superb marketing and another Great American Con. Amazing how confident he presents himself while spouting such corporate BS. A company's valuation shouldn't rise while its core technology fails to deliver on its most fundamental promise. If Palantir claims to be the cutting edge of defense intelligence but can't catch events like October 7, either the technology needs serious improvement or the marketing needs significant revision. But heck it will fit in perfectly with the Rump.
