I put peroxide all over on my white new balance gym shoes and then put them in the washing machine and let them air dry. They come out pretty clean, and i get compliments on them and have had them for about 7 years.

Recently wanted to try something new and used baking soda, vinegar and a little laundry detergent in the washer and that also worked very well. Even took some yellowing out as well.

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide work great for white shoes. I mix it with a little bit of dawn dish soap.

So you're going to waste about $20 dollars to clean a shoe.... a good clothes detergent, or dish soap like dawn and warm water with a good scrub will clean it for a whole lot less.

It's a good idea to wash the sneakers with soap and water first too... dish detergent and warm water or laundry detergent and warm water work well. They will become whiter if any loose dirt is removed before using baking soda or toothpaste.
