This method does not work properly for me.
Only sure fire way to get around this DNS Probe issue is to restart Windows 10.
This does not permanerntly fix the problem as it will recur after three or four start ups of you computer.
However, last week, after having this problem for over a year, MS must have sent an update to Windows 10 or the Drivers because problem has now gone away.
Some background. My machine is an HP 9470m bought in 2013 with Windows-7.. Upgraded to Windows 10 in November 2019. DNS probe first appeared in late January 2020. For the first couple of months the laptop was near unsuable. Did a full reinstall in March 2020 and after first Windows update the DNS probe issue came back, but now I could clear the DNS Probe issue for a time by restarting the laptop.
So I have no answers other than keep cool and wait for the miracle.
