Clouds on the "Lite" YESSSSS

I think that the lite version has the most intense colors, which I like best in many places... sometimes a little too strong but overall it's actually somehow my favorite. In comparison, the other 2 models seem bland but more attuned to them surrounding objects, especially when there is a lot of green to be seen... but overall, as mentioned, I like the lite best 😅

Feel like the normal switch has the nicest colours and brightness. The lite has the best controls and the OLED has clearest picture and best graphics

If you're on a budget, get the Lite. But If you want a Switch to play with the Dock/tabletop or want a better screen get the OLED. I don't see any reason to get the Original switch anymore since the OLED is only like 40 bucks more.

I just bought a Coral Lite for $178, brand new. And I'm pretty sure the docked models will have a considerable price cut during Black Friday (since 2024 seems to be the year of the Switch 2.0).

OLED is definitely better

The reflection of your backdrop is making the Switch and Switch lite look more washed out than it should be. Why is the background reflection so much brighter? You should have made sure there was no reflection to mess up the results. I also have all 3 and the difference is not that noticeable. Lights should have been turned down see we can see the screen easier. We dont need the screen to be so lit up it lights itself up and the consoles didn't need to be so lit either if you were going to tell which one was which. FIX YOUR BACKGROUND REFLECTION.

Now compare it to PC

My sister has an oled Switch and i'm playing it but she's leaving the country for 5 month and she's taking her switch with her. So I winder if I want to buy another switch but I don't have a lot of money so I might buy a switch lite but itns hard to go from Oled to lite when you want to play something like Xenoblade chronicles

Switch consoles use different LCD panels (different manufacturers or perhaps calibration?) so it's basically a gamble which one you get. This is true for all versions of Switch. Some of them appear warmer while some of them appear colder. Colder = better whites, while some prefer the warmer look with yellowish whites...

I like playing totk with my lite rather than my regular switch because it feels more ergonomic in my hand

Getting my first Lite in a few days as my OLED is at Nintendo service for repairs. I liked the colours on the OLED but looking forward to experiencing the comfortability of the Lite as I mainly play this in handheld mode.

a big problem with this test is the game time cuz the collors of the environment changes depending on the weather

The price-performance ratio of the Lite version is unbeatable in my opinion. I bought mine in July last year and use it almost every day. It still works today like the first day. The perfect console.

Switch OLED Lite when?

If you're playing a game like TOTK (or indeed any open world game) on a handheld screen .. you need your head examined.
What a waste ... it's like watching "Saving Private Ryan" on a phone .... moronic

Lite is Better

Hmm... I don't think watching a video of the OLED screen on a none OLED monitor does the switch OLED justice. But IMO. The OLED is awesome. I have the Limited Edition OLED with Zelda TotK

I think I’ll play on the Switch Lite because it will be more comfortable in my hands -

But I did notice that the Lite has reduced fog density and slightly reduced reflections… must be to make sure the Lite doesn’t overheat.

So that’s a bit frustrating but, I find joycons to be absolute trash and I want to play in a ‘gameboy’ style mode in bed.

I prefer the look of the lite and standard over the oled screen

Not just Zelda selling Switch but so many more & play anywhere, here goes, my experience, 1, The witcher, 2, Zelda LA, 3, QUAKE, 4, Dark Souls, 5, Ori, 6, Resident Evil remaster, 7, Blasphemous, that's just for starters

The lite's smaller screen actually makes the game looks a lot more sharper from what I've seen

I was choosing Oled and Lite
And I chose Lite(179$)+BOTW(49$)to save for Next whatever Nintendo came out
If you want to buy Switch in 2023 I recommend to choose Lite
And you will save 50% on next powerful switch pro/2

The screen in the Nintendo Switch Lite is too small in my opinion.

The best version is on PC emulator with mods. Just let the mrs use the Switch version but the big boys should be on PC with all the amazing mods for the optimal experience

Moving from Lite to OLED, I didn't really notice any difference. Had to ditch the lite because I'm getting vertical line screen problem.
