I think that multitasking issue (in which Mi4 load apps slower) might be related to OS version. Maybe Lollipop has better multitasking?

Ash, one suggestion. Please dont compress the video too much, it looks pixelated at 360p(your older videos are fine). If you want to compress the size without loosing quality then render in AVI and then use Easy h264 v0.6r to compress it. Try it once and you will be blown away.
