As much as The Dark Knight is technically better, nothing compares to seeing this in 2005. Saw this in the movie with my mother, sister, and my late maternal grandmother (in a weird twist of fate, my grandma would die a day or two before Dark Knight Rises was released in theaters). I was 15 and hadn't really cared for Batman in years, but this movie made me fall in love with the hero. Epic final fight, just everything epic about this scene. I never got why people hated the dude saying that the place was going to blow, he added a normal humanistic touch for the scene for me.

People 'sin' TDK for having a completely different Wayne tower but I think this scene explains why that happens pretty clearly

I love this movie, people underrate this one a lot- TDK is good but it's carried by Heath Ledger more than anything. The trilogy as a whole is still great though

That one man who don't care about his own building. Bruce Bat Man. Has anyone noticed even the train went and hit underneath the Wayne tower. It only break few pillars underneath the tower. Its like you can't break a strong mind. A strong heart. You can give a small pain but it will never fell down. The Wayne tower resemble Bruce and his mind to heart to body.

Typical unclear and shaky hollywood fight that makes you dizzy.
Unskilled action director + undertrained actor = trash choreography.
I'd rather have no fight scenes in a batman movie than to have this shaky dizzying screen in my face.

At least the fight scenes should have been like this in Dark Knight and dark knight rises. The fight scenes really sucked in those two movies.

The small detail of Batman shattering the front train windows to essentially create a wind tunnel before blowing out the back of the train allowing the wind to carry him out of the train is so… Batman…
