There's something really broken in the Huns.
I mean, I didn't count the turns, but I have already defeated 11 Hunnic armies, two per turns except one with three armies.
And yet these mf continue to spawn regularly.
They wiped out two of my cities right now. I play with the Ostrogoths.
Roman units helps a lot but it is still a bet every turn.
And I can't travel all around tge map with all my armies.

That Rome II soundtrack in the opening is one of the most atmospheric soundtracks I have ever heard, for warfare during the eras of Carthage, Rome, Alexander, Pyrrhus, etc etc.

I always thought that artillery in attila is just ridiculous

Frustrated against parthian shot hunnic archer cav, recently I play with ostrogoth, my army is 4 german archer, the rest is spearmen.

With their excellent range I could counter hunnic archer cav, the rest is taken care by spearmen....

I was reading about the Russian conquest of Siberia and this was pretty much what they did. Walk into Khanate territory build a temporary fort and goad the Mongols and other steppe armies into attacking them.

Those roman engineers got some new levels of accuracy

More Artillery. The American way.

i put a pike wall with 2 units at the front with 2 stacks of spearman. behind them i put 2 axe groups and to the sides i put another spear walls so it gets the shape of an "(" then i put 5 groups of archers right behind the axe units in the front row. behind those i put another spearman unit and behind them i put 3 large onagers with explosion ammo. the sides with 2 horse units to stop flankers. and boom. never lost a battle. even though i was outnumbered.

I tried same thing in R:TW but Heavy onagers throwing fire was both very inaccurate and slow that hunnic horse archers quickly destroyed my infantry, opened a weak spot in my defence and just rushed in to center of the fort

Aetius would be proud

You can won battle but you cannot to defeat them. Because they die and resurrect a thousand.
