Just bought the OnePlus Pad(tablet) which I am typing on, and just ordered the N30 5G and cant wait, i love this brand! The tablet is amazing!

Moto Edge 30 Fusion, $290 directly from Motorola. Way better phone, processor, display, everything. With 68w Fast charger in box and a case, with Moto 600 ANC earbuds. This Nord doesn't even come close so that Moto hate is outright false.

This phone doesn’t compete with Samsungs A series phones at all. Samsung A series phones provide significant software updates. This phone comes with outdated software straight out of the box and likely won’t receive anything further and if by some miracle it does, it will be outdated then as well.

This has got to be the best phone..now $225 on Amazon or OP website. It does everything I need. Works with all carrier's even Verizon. I see friends with POS phones that don't have 1/2 the features that I'm sure they paid triple the price or more. I'll tell anyone that has any interest in not being steered and smothered with marketing, otherwise I'm just content in knowing at least I haven't been ripped off.

Seems near perfect, but it seems too big. That's the one thing stopping me from buying it instantly. I'm active and always want to have it in my pocket while being athletic and stuff.

I have had the N10 since it came out in 2020 and aside from taking it everywhere and the outside of my case and screen protector showing where and tear the phone still runs beautifully I don't even really not much lag on anything I need on a regular basis. I mostly only only looking to upgrade now because I just heard about the new N30 and I'm like hm maybe I'll upgrade. Upgrade and keep my N10 as a back up phone you can never have to many of those.

The other phone company that stupid Americans don't know exists is Xiaomi. Definitely the best budget manufacturer. Almost all their budget phones come with amoled screens and high refresh rates.

the only thing missing on this device, is a water-repellant coating, a rating like that on the Motorola phones, and probably durability too. will have to see. great phone though.

Yeah. Got tne N30. My LG G8x was ready to retire with my battery in bad shape. Also no updates of any kind. Including security. This is about as close to the LG phones were with a lot of features. Cannot use the Samsung A series phones with the Meditak processors.
Very good budget phone. Got mine for $234.00 a few weeks ago. I always use Nova Launcher on any phone i get and it is fast. The 8 gb ram is what allows this. Will get Android 14 and 3 years of security updates. Alright with me for less that $250. And with a snapdragon processor.

Thanks TechDaily. I placed my purchase for this phone using your review. Please do not disappoint. Only gripe I have with your phone reviews. You do not specify GSM or CDMA network the phone uses. I'm on the Verizon network which is CDMA and this phone says it's on the GSM network. Fingers crossed, hope it works on my cellular network. Kudos to you on another great review😊.

Motorola vs oneplus isn't even in the same league

I think OnePlus is a great choice for the US market, especially when there are only 4 other OEM phones and they are expensive. I had my first oneplus 6 for 4 years and now my kids are using it. I was able to upgrade to my OnePlus 9 pro last year from best buy at the huge black Friday discount

I own a NORD N30 5G and the phone is an absolute must have for anyone with PWM sensitivity. I cannot overstate how much of a life saver this phone was on my eyes. It has an LCD screen instead of the current overly bright OLED type screen that most current phones have, especially current era Samsung. I had bought an S23 Ultra but had to return it after two days because it was murder on my eyeballs.

The n20 and n30 have the same chipset ill just wait for the n40

I wish this phone had NFC. Edit: apparently it does, it's just not mentioned on OnePlus's website on the spec list on their website SMH

Thank you for the review. I just set my N30 up last night to replace a Galaxy s21+ that kept shutting down cuz it said it was overheating. Was going to get the Moto but last minute decided on the N30.

Not familiar with everything yet but so far really love the lack of bloatware and the fast charging

It kills me every time I hear someone say you will be wiping the back or you'll never keep it clean or its slick as Teflon.
Have none of y'all ever heard of a case.
There are cases made that are not meant to protect but just keep fingerprints and dirt etc off the device.

Sacrificed on flagship devices.
I have what i consider two OP flagship phones. 10Pro and 11.
I have the 11t and never considered it a flagship phone even tho OP does.
Camera quality and price of the phone just arent there.
To be honest id put the 10t in the hi end of the Nord series.
Having said that the 10t is no slouch, nor are the Nord3 or Nord N 30. Just different levels for different needs and budgets.

Thinking of going from a iPhone 13 Pro Max to the n30.. my late android was a one plus n30 and I just want something that has sd cards, aux ans usb c with a decent camera.

If I had a dollar for every time you threw shade on OnePlus flagship devices (that you haven't even used or reviewed) in videos that aren't even about OnePlus flagship devices, I'd be a rich man.

NORD is a TOP NOTCH company based in Germany! I know, because I am an automation technician and work with their electrical engineers in Germany. Nord may be new to the phone game but they make industrial electronics and have been in business for 78 years.
Cannot go wrong with NORD.....

how does this compare to the moto g stylus 2022? i downgraded from a oneplus 7t after i busted the display. i felt a noticeble downgrade in camera quality, responsiveness, and input accuracy. and the finger print censer is just kinda shit. would the nord n30 feel like a step up from the moto g stylus, or would you say it's on par?

Just got this yesterday... Pretty good for the price. The sound is really good, and charges fast

Samsung is garbage software and I won't have one, OnePlus has awesome software. So much so that this N30 runs like butter on a chip that was released 10-26-21, almost 2 years old. Snapdragon chips have come a long way since then. But it cranks at 2.2ghz and that is no slacker, so with OPs fine tuning of the software, this phone flies with most things. Even many games play very well on this device. iPhone user for years. Never ever thought I'd use android again. But when Apple removed sim trays here in the USA I stopped buying the phone. Just by luck I stumbled across Oneplus first thing and LOVE the UI. Already decided that when my last iPhone is no longer usable, OP will be what I go to.
Samsung, Google, Motorola, Nokia.......none of them interest me. Either the software is carp. The hardware is carp. The update path is carp. Bloatware is unremovable or can't be disabled. UI is ugly as carp.
OnePlus devices suffer from none of these.
Even the N30 has a respectable upgrade path for a 300.00 dollar phone. It will get android 14 and then will get security updates for 3 years.
That right there, the security updates are the key, the MOST important thing. And your getting 3 years.
I see and read soooo many technofiles b!tching and moaning over the screen, oh it's not AMOLED wahhhwahh
The screen went from 90 to 120 refresh rate. And still some how miraculously still looks fantastic. Is bigger and uses less power someone said. Not sure how that works since AMOLED were supposed to be more efficient than LED.

Please help I am trying to decide between this phone the OnePlus Nord N30 5G and the Samsung A54. I would appreciate the input.

The chip in this is literally 2 years older than the chipset in the Motorola G Stylus 5g! I am shocked that Moto released a phone almost better in every aspect! The Moto just starts at 6gigs of RAM instead of 8 but with the Snapdragon 6 gen 1 chipset 6gigs goes further!

Yes it runs smooth 30 fps ! For $269 wow ! And everything you need it's Mario equivalent to super smash all around good pick 🎉
