New subscriber here, do we need to re-apply the console-commands each time we start the game, or is one time enough?
ОтветитьDon't comment often but this video was greatly needed and appreciated. Thank you Quazii. All the best.
ОтветитьThank you, this is awesome!
ОтветитьAwesome vid , game looks much smoother
Ответитьreally great Video Quazii cheers
ОтветитьOne thing to note (its almost like blizzard WANTED to make this harder) in current DF raid and a few dungeons particle effects actually have begun to OBSCURE in-game indicators for some abilities, most notably the lines on the tornados for Smolderon. Granted there are WA to turn it off when in the fight, sometimes they glitch and dont turn it back on.
ОтветитьI love you, best wow content creator thank you for everything you do for the community
Ответитьthe sharpening hack was very helpful
Ответитьamazing video, thanks for every guide you've made so far! keep them coming!
Ответитьwauw, this improved my fps ingame alot! Thx!!
Ответитьvery nice vid thank you!
ОтветитьRecently returned to WoW and found your UI/WA settings. Now this. I personally love to have view distance on so kept it cranked up, but even still gained more FPS than my monitor can handle. Plus, a way crisper image. Subscribed and here's hoping for your 100k.
ОтветитьThank you for this, I helped my Brother's Laptop out a lot with the help you gave here!
ОтветитьPeople in Guild are very happy with your Video, thank you for creating it.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for everything you do man, starting from m+ guides over nameplates, to this. Short question to you or anyone here who might know it. Console commands, we need to enter them each time we log into game, or they remain permanent? Thx.
ОтветитьGreat help!
Ответитьhi Quazii, so when I enter /console set ResampleAlwaysSharpen 1 it just makes my character /say it instead of actually applying the command, is this normal? the other console commands don't actually say anything in the chat
ОтветитьSubbed!
ОтветитьKeep it up. These are appreciated. Only request is to keep updating as each xpack comes out since they often change things up.
ОтветитьThanks Quaz for this video, it helped a lot, I was literally waiting for something like this - insta sub bro! :D
ОтветитьPlease help. I used the hacks yesterday and the game looks fantastic. But after doing it, my chrome text, desktop text etc. everything looks blurred at the edges. I am grossly confused. Please help.
ОтветитьHello. Thank you for the guide. Could you give me a hint how to get so nice mouse cursor like yours?
ОтветитьYou are very well spoken :D
ОтветитьAs a side note if you do any gathering turning ground clutter off helps immensely.
ОтветитьBig question, i orderes my computer 2 days ago, geforce rtx 3050 8gb, is this settings possible with my graphic card?
ОтветитьOne of the easiest clicks of the subscribe button! 15 years of WoW i feel like i'm playing a different game!. I play on an older computer and these changes have made a massive difference to the look and feel of the entire game!
ОтветитьCan you do one for Classic Season of Discovery?
ОтветитьThanks for this :D!
ОтветитьThank you sooo much for this video! Just got back to retail, and almost lost my mind trying to have it stable.. This solved it for me.
ОтветитьBeen looking for a detailed graphic settings video like this for ages. Finally someone came trough, cheers!
Ответитьsafe to say we all love you
ОтветитьRENDER SCALE 91%=65 fps 100%=120 fps BRUH WTF
ОтветитьI thought resolution scaling and sharpening in WoW was broken for a couple of patches. It drastically decreased performance for me and many people when I last tried reducing the resolution render scale a few weeks ago. When was it fixed?
Ответитьvery well explained chief- thanks!
ОтветитьYour video subjects are miles ahead of any content creator. You're a visionary, thank you so much for your amazing content
ОтветитьOh man I have RTX 2070 super and a 144 monitor, and I never could achieve this kind of smooth and crisp game and even my gpu temp were higher. Thanks a lot for this!
ОтветитьThis is why you know the current wow devs are incompetent. Why does any of this exist in console commands but isn't in the graphics options
ОтветитьThanks for the guide! Personally I noticed I cannot play with CMAA or any other Anti-Aliasing enabled cuz it makes the game look like a clayman game (Fortnite-vibes) which I´m not used to. I need my rough edges. Also cannot play without Vertical Sync, the difference when I hit +1000fps in open world and then a few nameplates/other stuff shows up and i drop down to 100-200fps really hurts on the eyes after a while. Rather have it "capped" to not strain my eyes.
ОтветитьThis video is a godsend for people like me with a weaker pc. Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьThanks bro, very nice video. Besides, a 4090 fixes most of the issues lol
Ответитьis is great, someone needs to make a wekaura that remembers old settings then change everything to your setttings
ОтветитьThanks quazii, definitely the best guide for graphic setting for WoW. Thanks for your hard work on these videos 🫡, will send these to a friend who just got a new rig
ОтветитьOh my freaking God, thank you so much for this!!! much appreciated, greatly appreciated in fact, 1000 thank yous sir!
Ответитьexcellent videos as always, thank you for putting the time in to these
Ответить- Okay.... the visual sharpening, I turned it on while trying to focus to see the difference change on 1 item... couldn't see it switch as if a flip was switched, but instantly EVERYTHING was starting to pop... my transmog mammoth is like a shiny new toy, holy.
- I'm fortunate you noted your graphics settings are for ANY hardware... I'm on a 1060, so I was reluctant lol. Majority of the 3 kings, 1 Prince were already set as you recommended, but contrast I'm intrigued to test.
- OKAY, holy shit. Re-doing the first wave of settings for FPS savings, my game became slightly-noticeably laggier... I'm standing on the outskirts of a bridge into Valdrakken, and the butterflies around became a bit choppy, my camera speed spinning around became choppier... then we got into the BASE settings (majority of my graphics originally have been on 'GOOD' settings...), now after all of the editing, I've pressed APPLY CHANGES, and it's smooth as heck. AND, that sharpening 'hack' counters for the loss of Good - Low quality changes.
- I've been asking around a lot, including really POWERFUL, high rated m+ players for Arcane Mage, if they get a latency problem during their AoE ramp -> bursts in big m+ heroism trash pulls... because I do only during that moment, where: Arcane Barrage -> Arcane Orb -> Barrage - > Orb (how it should look), actually looks like: Barrage, Barrage, Barrage -> Orb -> Barrage, Barrage -> Orb, Orb -> Barrage... and so on... (this latency lag does not happen in double lust boss pulls raid/m+, for example)... SO, I'm intrigued to see if maybe one of these settings changes is the fix.
- Raid night in an hour from typing this & I'll do more m+ tomorrow to test that side of things for FPS & responsiveness. Going to share this video in my huge, multi-cross-realm guild discord.
Thanks so much.
EDIT: I notice a lot of choppiness, which I've never had before - like refresh rate lines across the screen. Rewatched, and deduced to the 'Vertical Sync'... so I optioned it on, and it appears those choppiness movements are gone (spinning the camera, moving forward & jumping with mount). It's back to the gentle lag i've always been used to for screen smoothness. So that's fine, all of the above the edit stays true regarding all of the other settings.
EDIT 2: Turned off Anti-aliasing on top of enabling Vertical Sync, and it's super smooth again, like before these two edits without moving my character.
EDIT 3: Noted in 'Edit 1', my latency issue during AoE Arcane Mage ramp + burst in M+, I also noticed this on target dummies. NOW, I just went to target dummies and my ramp burst is 200K more dps (without buffs), and responsiveness seems to be near instant. I did not have a double barrage go "by mistake". So this is very, very interesting in a super positive way!
EDIT 4: Sometimes for tonight's raid night, game was smooth as heck, then other times it's fps slowed. Quick reload fixes, but now can't shake it just standing in Valdrakken - definitely did not have this on my original GOOD settings with some edits from years ago. So I think I'm just missing one switch in the settings that I haven't figured out yet, bc the settings in your vid are literally LESS demanding than what I've been on for the last however many years. Very odd.
EDIT 5: Disabled 'projected textures' and re-enabled triple buffering... seems smoother, but ofc, those changes comes with an auto-reload. So I'll find out tomorrow. I just need new hardware to be honest... 1060 is slowly losing the battle. -last update ^ -
EDIT 6: I'm back - re-turned on projected textures, liquid details back to 'good' for personal preference, and actually the render distance back to 100% instead of 91%, like in the vid, and that ironically, alone, solved a lot of extraneous lag. The fog was really stressing the PC, lol. So, we'll go from here and see what happens. That was only running WoW for about 20-30mins, not a few hours like on a raid night or big M+ key marathon... so this week, i'll see. Overall, game is smooth as heck - loading screens seem a bit faster and my character is VISIBLE, not INVISIBLE after a loading screen, lol. Only visual I dislike is grassy areas look so bland :(
this is amazing. my game looks and runs so much better. ty vm.
