Rockstar should have done an HD Remaster of GTA 4, made with the latest version of the RAGE Engine (the original used the first generation RAGE Engine), with modern, original, or classic (PS2-era) controls.

What’s keeping them from doing a GTA 4 Remaster, other than reacquiring the rights to the music?

You crank this game up on pc and it will blow any console out of the water.

PC looks better, plus you can actually run it at 4K 60FPS and not some 1440p upscaled bullsh*t

i play on pc at 4k with 2 shaders and it looks better and hovers around 90-80-100 fps flat

Probably using a low end pc. Even so the PC is better here in most aspects. If you not used to better quality then you cant spot the difference. I use a high end pc and it beats this comparison.

Looks great on both. Smoother on pc as you would expect and some additional detail. But an old game made for consoles. Not exactly a great spec pc.

They are pretty similar

Gta 5 on ps5 had updates to its game Mechanics such as improved smoke and glass breaking. Gta 5 on pc would behave much, much better if the same changes were ported over. This doesn't prove anything except cockstar can't be arsed to optimise the pc port of gta 5.

Non riesco a decidermi su quale sia meglio. In alcune scene è più sgranata la 5 che il pc in lontananza, altri casi viceversa. Però ad esempio la parte col fuoco è meglio sulla 5, perché la macchina del pc è fatta coi poligoni😂. Poi mi piace di più il mare su 5 e per il ray tracing penso sia uguale
