Kim - It amazes me what you can buy from the American thrift stores, I'm from Australia where our thrift stores your lucky if you can come away with 1 item either clothing or home decor. Love watching you trying on clothes it brings a smile to my face. Might even think about going to the USA just to go thrift store shopping.

I recently went through my closet and tried on everything...got rid of anything that didn't fit first, then out of what was left kept only what I loved on me and made me feel good. So now everything that's in my closet are things that make me feel good, fit great and that I love. Every single item. If for whatever reason something is off with an item, and I didn't realize it, I get rid of it. ONLY things that fit, feel good, and make me feel confident are in my closet. It was also SO nice to downsize but the major plus is that I can literally pick from things I love every day. Worth dumping the duds.

Omg 😮 those Barbie dolls in the crochet southern belle dresses are a treasure for me. My mom used to subscribe to Annie’s Attic and she would get different patterns sent to her. I remember looking at these patterns and wishing my mom would make them. There was a different dress for each month.

If your power goes out and you have a generator. All you have to do is plug in your internet modem and your Wi-Fi airporter( for others in the house too. Boom now you have internet. I did this and it worked for me.

I got inspired and bought 5 cds for $1 at my fav thrift store.

We live where we lose power a few times a year and we have a jackery and a fun dvd collection that I am always adding to. We just plug into the jackery and we are good to go. We used to do this with our kids , back when everyone was watching dvd movies. Now my grandkids think it is sooo cool to pick a movie off the shelf and put a disc into a machine to watch a movie 🙄😂Last week my 5 year old grandson asked if we could watch a movie like they did in the olden days, he meant he wanted to watch a dvd🤣😂
