If you have windows, you don't even have to use obs by the way. The default camera app records 4k jitter-free at 70mbps which looks pretty great.

Dude!!!! this is what i do to record my camera screen, the elgato cam link and OBS, Maaaan Great Video, I actually did this for my video talking about the T7i and i also made a video of the recorded settings in the Canon C70 a few months ago.

Big facts, about using your computer as a recorder. I was doing it for speed purposes, but the quality drops off alot.
