Damn, so many comments are over the top critical. This place is great. Also, it's weird seeing people say that the "one in Orlando is better" when there isn't one there. 😅 They're getting the theme park attractions mixed up with the studio tours. They're completely different things. There are only two tours: this one and the UK one. Not only that, but this is an official tour paid for by Warner Brothers. You're getting a legitimate experience here.

You can have a favorite location, but being unnecessarily critical of others is immature. This looks like lots of fun for Potterheads and casual fans alike. As they say: don't knock it till you try it.

As good as it does look I don't approve of them stealing another member of the hall class to dress up as 5972. It would have been cheaper to just have a fake replica made rather then have 5972 Olton Hall's older sibling 4920 Dumbleton Hall dressed up in Hogwarts Railways crimson with 5972 numbers. 4920 shouldn't have left British soil for static display abroad, if it was to go on display it should've been in the UK so that the real 5972 could be run again while 4920 took it's place in Watford.

I was here last January. The experience was amazing. The video of the riding of the broom was edited so badly though. The food was ok. But overall, I enjoyed every section of it.
I bought myself a tote bag, Shirts, some candies and a name tag holder as souvenirs.
1 thing to bring tho, a wand, coz I forgot mine, the wand from Universal Studio works here, you can do some spell castings here as well. Make sure you have someone with you to take pictures. There are also things you can only do with their own app with QR code.

For a true lifelike experience, it's an absolute must to visit the one in Universal Orlando.

It’s really really frustrating how many amazing things you walk past and then focused on such ridiculous things like where to eat and crap! Really bad tour! Bummed!

Translation= no ride. You would think with all that space they would built an actual ride.

Neat but the ceiling really hurts the magic. How could they not do something about hiding it?

Great impression. Thanks for that. But what interests me is that in London they say that you can see the original sets there (which makes sense since the films were shot here), are they all replicas just for this tour? Doesn't that mean you lose a lot of what makes the tour in London special?

i love this! just went and had the time of my life. only recommendation is to bring your own drinks and make sure you put aside money for this in advance! its very expensive here haha

I've been to the UK one...the gift shop isnt as big and theres no food court (at least when i went)...there also wasnt that intro - ours you started at privet drive with the staircase where harry slept...and then it led to the doors to the great hall... the only issue with this is that the UK one has most of the original props ad costumers - the tokyo one, just like the theme parks, are mostly all replica items.
However...this one seems to be a lot more interactive...it's also on a larger site so you have a lot more to do... i love the portrait idea and the staircase...the UK one feels more like parts of the sets to look at so you can't touch much
