I dont get option of offset path. Like is disabled not able to click on it What to do please help

when we create outline of text the color of text removed , and text is turne blank ,

This is a great video, thank you! just trying to work out why my offset path doesn't have any anchor points/outline on the actual offset section? instead it effectively looks like a stroke and I can't use the shape builder tool for anything other than the original text?

Can someone help? Whenever I convert the letters the offset outline is super huge. So I have it at 1px, but when I try to delete the overlaps it'll delete like a layer of the letters, but underneath is still the same text unchanged. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

You know a progrm FUCKING SUCKS ASS when you're doing exactly what the tut is saying but it just won't work. I tried 3 different methods and the stupid piece of shit software refuses to do the damn thing. There's a reason I do vectors in photoshop honestly, and it's shit like this. Fucking retarded ass Adobe.

I doubt the creator or anyone will see this but THANK YOU for jumping right into it. Generally people that are watching these videos are frustrated while trying to figure something out. I don't need your 3-minute long intro, then watching your computer load for 2 minutes while you open Illustrator, and then listen to you ramble on for another 4 minutes about how you appreciate all your new subscribers. GET F****D!... So with that being said. I really do appreciate you jumping straight into the walkthrough. Very helpful.

After you have selected your letters and clicked the shape builder tool, you say "hold out", is there a key I need to hold down while doing this because mine isn't deleting any of the areas :/
